Re: [°C-ute PV] Shochuu Omimai Moshiagemasu

Gocchin, Ayaya and Nacchi performed a short version of this on the Music Fair 21 H!P special from 2007. I can't find an online vid, though. MKB did it on Uta Doki! The Candies version reigns supreme, but I do like the C-ute video. However, something's weighing on my mind: where the hell is Kanna, al...

Re: Joss Whedon & Eliza Dushku present Dollhouse

Ah, so this is a Joss Whedon show after all, I was starting to wonder! The first five eps were a little on the brutal side with their banal "A" plots -- it was like watching a string of really bad Angel episodes. But the pieces are finally coming together, some of the characters are clearl...

My mind was so blown by Sayumi gettin' some Tsunku-love that I almost didn't notice what a great song this was! For those who think that Sayu sounds out of place here, I know where you're coming from. But if loving this is wrong, I don't wanna be right. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoti...

ELECTRONIC MUSIC

OK, this is an impossibly broad topic, but I'm not sure it's one more than a handful of people here particularly care about so I think this discussion may be more productive if kept in one place. Here's wiki's list of electronic music genres to give you an idea of how diverse this field of music rea...

Re: Buono! - Buono! 2

First impressions: This album is never less than pleasant to listen to. But if you approach it with the spirit of "OK, entertain me, damn it! In new and exciting ways!" then it comes up short. There isn't a track that's nearly as rousing as Nakimushi Shounen, for instance. co-no-mi-chi shi...

These Erina songs are so 80s! Idols with weak voices were the norm then (with major exceptions like Nakamori Akina, etc.), but that stuff can be incredibly enjoyable if you acquire a taste for it. When I heard the preview, I thought for sure there would be nothing but negative comments here so I'm h...

The Single V is coming this week. I always prefer the real thing to net vids. There really are some odd key changes in this song. I love Momoko's voice. (Airi's, too, but I don't think that's who Peach was ribbing you about.) Pitch perfect vocals are not a priority for me with idol music. I prefer that each girl's individual quirks and charms resonate through their performances. Having said that, though, Momo still gets a bad ...

Risa's not going anywhere. No member is more fully integrated with that group than Risa. Hell, she is Morning Musume. I think Risa will go down with the ship. If Ai & Risa were to go, though, that would make Eri and Sayu Leader/Subleader. Or better yet: Co-Leaders! That would be pretty hilarious.
