Re: Namie Amuro - WILD/Dr.
Yeah, these songs are amazing. I love both of them almost equally, depending on how I feel. I have had them on repeat since I first got them last night and I seem to appreciate them more and more every time I listen. I can definitely hear them being continuations into 90s - 2000s sound. And yes, the...

Re: Movies
Push: Summer popcorn flick in the middle of winter, I guess. Wasn't spectacular, but wasn't horrible either. Not sure it was worth the 9 bucks. Weak plot, kind of talky, a little ridiculous at times. Most recognizable person in the movie was Dakota Fanning, but the other actors were charming enough,...

Re: Nazotte Oboeru Otona no Kanji Renshuu
God, kanji. Thank you for the review Hana, and I might check this out, but I probably won't. If I don't have to use kanji, I tend to not want to do anything to do with them, and a game made up of learning kanji feels like an aspect of my own personal hell.

Re: Otome no Inori radio preview
I like this. I kind of don't know why either, but I do. For some reason I like Mano but I just can't really figure it out. She's definitely not going to win any awards for her singing ability, but there really is something soothing about her voice and these very calm, laid back songs. I think it's k...

Re: Kago goes Semi-Nude
I pretty much disagree with every single one of your points, palsunstar. Is this really the best she can do? The famed child-star of Morning Musume that everyone (seemingly) loved? ALL of your so-called "tame" attempts to get back into the spotlight strike me as being particularly desperat...

[quote name='mizer_unmei' post='57161' date='Jan 20 2009, 07:23 AM']I get a lot of mine at this livejournal group . You have to be a member to see a lot of the posts, but it is updated pretty frequently. I think there's also a torrent site called BoAjjang. I don't use torrents though, so I'm not sur...

Re: K-pop.
asdf, I so want to get into kpop, but I never knew who to start with (a lot of groups I heard before didn't really interest me) and I didn't know where to go to get the songs that come out. I did really like the songs from Wonder Girls, and of course Clazziquai. (yay sadude) With this thread I'm get...

Re: 'FLY AWAY' PV Preview - SWEET BLACK ft. Goto Maki
Meh. Not that impressed with anything about this, the PV has a budget yeah, but it isn't particularly interesting. All I'm seeing is "Hey look, here's Maki. She how much better she looks with expensive makeup, clothes, and camerawork?" The song's tempo is too slow like Pi Miki suggests, an...

Re: Tsukishima Kirari starring Kusumi Koharu - Hapi Hapi Sunday
Did they heavily modulate her voice in this one? It sounds like it to me, even with PV quality. I don't really see how else she can go from the ear-scraping nightmare-inducing murder that was Pa-Pa-Pan Cake or whatever to actually sounding.. decent here. Why the fuck don't they do this with all her ...

Re: Buono - co no mi chi
I liked this single a lot, actually- perhaps almost immediately upon hearing it. Its charm is its apparent schizophrenia for me. I'm not listening to the PV too much because I don't want to tire of it before the actual single is even released. Unfortunately most of Buono's songs do not have a terrib...

Re: Naichau Kamo PV
It's okay. Not spectacular, not horrible, just okay. The only memorable bits in it was the "naichau kamo" cuz it was repeated ad infinitum in the song (which is not really a good thing) and the rifts between lyrics (which was a good thing). I like the melody and think it would probably be ...

Re: Welcome back
Yay it's back. Maybe I'll try and be more active for this iteration of the mmbbs, but who knows! I still have a vicious tendency to want to lurk though, but if people don't post, then I won't have stuff to lurk! Or something. Whatever! Thanks to everyone who had a hand in bringing it all up again, I...
