Re: Hello!Project Champloo Concert debut songs

Pucchi and Aa songs are OK, but I love the new Tanpopo song. Given the name of the song I'm hoping they do performances, old school Tanpopo-style with umbrellas (or parasols, whatever you wanna call em), which would be quite awesome to say the least.

It looks like a KAT TUN PV! LOL! At any rate, I dunno what everyone else was watching, Ai is looking sexy as hell. If MM never did another "happy" song, I seriously wouldn't care. I get all my happy stuff from C-ute, BK, and HPE anyway.

Re: Movies

This summer really underwhelmed. Nothing lived up to expectations except for Star Trek, and probably UP. I hear Harry Potter is supposed to be good, but I never watched any of the movies, and I don't have the time or patience to "invest" into the 6 movies or the books.

Re: Pucchimoni and Tanpopo to come back from the Dead!

The good: New biyuuden, tanpopo and minimoni Not so good: ZYX and Pucchi moni The problem with ZYX is that there are too many people. They seriously should have just re-did the original formula, which is one MM member and a bunch of HPK (HPE in this case). I'd rather have that, then a mish mash of M...

So sad! Jesus, is C-ute cursed? They have had TWO members get axed, either for the same reason (scandal) or another. I think they'll probably just keep it at six members.

Re: Nanchatte Renai [Preview]

There's a lot of stuff going on here, but most of it is good. I'm kind of indifferent to the rap part, although it has shades of "Do It Now," which I love. The chorus is the true strength of the song. I hope the dance and PV are good.

Re: Michael Jackson rushed to hospital.

What's awesome is the random MJ flashmobs, where people just gather to listen, sing along, and dance to his songs, in various cities all over the world. Just look on youtube. They've happened in London, NYC, SF, Toronto, and Berlin, and probably some other places. A lot of people say, "he would...

Re: Michael Jackson rushed to hospital.

Surveying various forums on the Net, it appears to me there is a kind of generational divide regarding MJ. To help the young (under 20) understand Michael's popularity, take your favorite artist and imagine he is just as popular to your friends as he is to you. Now multiply that by everyone in the c...

Re: Pucchimoni and Tanpopo to come back from the Dead!

Takeuchi really doesn't look like her cousin. That is interesting, though, and btw, if you look in those little questionnaires, under "Sempai I look up to most in HP" she writes "YAJIMA MAIMI." Maimi probably thought, "damn right!"

Bad = still an Airi/Maimi fest Good = EVERYTHING ELSE. I loved them at the beach. They need to do more of this! This is a great summer song, even if it is a cover. Yeah, I'd say Mai and Chisa are venturing into the "awkward" phase. Let's hope it's shorter than Maimi's who was basically awk...

Re: Tsunku wants to create a new Minimoni.

I like how this is creating angry responses on the net and blogosphere. I really don't get it. Did people love minimoni that much? To me, it was just a launching vehicle for the TsujiKago boom (which ultimately led to W.... and then the great demise thereof). What I think goes unmentioned, at least ...

Re: The S/mileage Debut

The full single has been released on Hello!Online, in the torrents section and in the forums for direct DL. I absolutely love it as far as debut singles for new groups go. There's not much more if you've already heard the preview, though there is this guitar solo at around 3:00, which I didn't expect.

The whole first verse is played from 0:34 to 2:05. I would have liked to have heard the whole song, but I guess they're saving it for the concert. It sounds pretty unique as far as HP goes. I can't point out an HP song (and I've heard way too many) and say "This sounds like..." That's a goo...

Jesus Christ, if they pulled a 180 and went from PS exclusive to MS exclusive, that's just fucking themselves again, in a whole different way. That means they instantly pissed off the entire nation of Japan, cuz no one there is gonna buy an XBOX for just this game.

Well MS announced some sort of motion control camera thing. Dunno if anyone other than MS will support it. I love the Sony fanbois in absolute tears over Metal Gear on the XBOX. Sony fanboys are the most ridiculous when it comes to 3rd party exclusives, which are increasingly and rightly becoming a ...

I'd love to see Chisato as the leader of the bunch. She's currently the shortest in Wonderful Hearts, and she's vastly under-used in C-ute. Plus, she has Mari's sporty/tomboy vibe.

I didn't really dig the 3D. Next time I'll pass on 3D versions. Anyway, it was good and solid, definitely more mature than I thought. It still doesn't top Nemo, as far as roller coaster adventures go, but it was still a fun ride. To me, it was basically Gran Torino for kids. A grumpy old guy who los...

E3 is always big on talk, small on delivery. The only "big deal" E3s are the console announcement ones. Other than that, I really never cared (and won't this year either). Next year's will be big, because MS will probably announce a 2011 console launch.

If they do put HPE in this group, I think it will have Okai Asuna and Maeda Irori in it. They are some of the more popular girls in the younger HPE ranks.
