Re: [Berryz Koubou PV] Seishun Bus Guide

Oh dear, their "normal" outfits are kind of hideous. SHOULDER PADS, GO BACK INTO THE CORNER OF PAST FASHION HISTORY WHERE YOU CAME FROM, AND DIE A LONELY AND NEGLECTED DEATH. That being said, they're still better than a lot of their concert outfits... I just would have liked something a li...

Re: Berryz Kobou's Rival PV

Surprisingly, the song isn't all that bad. Cutesy, typical H!P, but the energetic PV makes up for it. Bonus points for Chinami hamming it up during the instrumental break.

Re: Movies

Star Trek was just absolutely fantastic. I had my misgivings, as I was going with my "nerd friends" who actually watch old episodes and know canon and such, but the sheer awesome of the movie blew it away. It helps that Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine are Very, Very Fine. [tinytext](And a li...

Re: Up-Front Works intrigued by Gee? (SNSD song)

Curiously, I've always found SNSD to be vocal leaps above H!P - SM Entertainment has a reputation for manufacturing idols with very polished, trained voices, and even though I don't even really care for SNSD, I will admit they are all above-average vocalists. Example: Singing one of their ballad son...

Meh.

I heard my 6-year-old cousin singing "Low" ("Shorty got them apple bottom jeans...", that song) the other day, so some overly paranoid parents freaking out about "of looking" sounding like "fucking" is the least of our troubles.
