Re: [Morning Musume's 39th Single] Shouganai Yume Oibito

Back in the saddle! I'm sure the girls are thrilled since this is the first #1 for JunJun LinLin and Aika.

Also about 48,000 sold is not too shabby as well.

Looks like it's not tied in, my bad.

However it is W-inds first single in nearly a year though. It'll be close.

Here's rooting for our girls!

Re: [Morning Musume's 39th Single] Shouganai Yume Oibito

From what I understand, Love Forever has a major drama tie-in.

Should be interesting to see what the final numbers are just to see if this was a slow week or MM is actually up there competing with these folks.

This video is really solid, a little bit of storytelling goes a long way.

That said those 80s outfits are hideous!

Note to UFA:

Only emulate 80s music, not fashion.

Re: BoA - The First Album

I love this album and the video is an improvement over the american version of Eat you up. I still feel like the korean version was a show stealer though. It would appear that she's had limited commercial success though, not much to report on the billboard charts or sales. I hope they don't give up ...

[quote name='Tallgeese' post='57145' date='Jan 20 2009, 03:05 AM']Probably an MM grad this year, maybe a new addition, too. BK will get better songs, C-ute will do more of the same. I think a few HP Eggs will get a decent push this year, at least an "indies group" formation (think C-ute ci...

From H!O If you read the article you would have saw this line: "Of course, Hello!Online will also continue to have all the unique site features you're used to." So lets make it clear. "H!O will continue to have all the unique feature" Meaning the tracker is not going anywhere and...

Ok I love this thread because I'm dumb like that. Anyway. Album sales! Look at this! Berryz and C-ute have been stuck at 14k and 15k respectively. It seems no matter how their single sales have increased nothing has happened in the album department (both of the most recent albums from these groups s...

The lag, in theory, should be identical to twice your internet lag anyway so it shouldn't be too bad. In practice though? I guess we'll have to see the beta to get a real feel for it.

Pretty interesting, although it is going to be a bandwidth monster. The ISPs are going to 'love' this. If I may grossly simplify for a second the technology appears to be like streaming video from a website. Except that it's not a video it's you playing a game. This means that there isn't much in te...

I can't believe that president of the channel bought into this. Must be his pet project or something because it reeks of amateurish marketing mistake.

Re: C-ute - Bye Bye Bye PV

I like the PV for the most part except the dance. It just sucks and the PV seems to do a good job highlighting it. One part that stuck out was the bye bye bye portion. The exaggerated waving was expected but the weird both-hands-up motion was awkward. There are much worse dances but I was hoping for...

I think the numbers are accurate in the relative sense. A more popular group/singer would sell more physical copies and it would be proportional to the number of digital copies.

Now to be honest 3rd for the week is pretty damn good.

I'm gathering evidence for a case to prove she's actually an advanced japanese robot who singing is done by Vocaloid.

Serious question. Is that auto-tuning gone wild or just her voice? I'm really not sure but I swear I hear odd digitization in her songs.

Either way it's cute.
