Interesting that they made the girls sing Takahashi's graduation song.



I don't know what it is about Meru, but I like her. I know I shouldn't, but I keep calling her Aibon with Eyebrows.



Of course my favorites are Sara, Haruka, and Ishida. Sara wont get in and I'll be sad as hell about it because I already got all my 9th gen's in and I can't have more nice things in my Musume. Tsunku wont allow it! Bastard!



Haruna's eyes scare the crap out of me or maybe it's her smile. I'm not sure which one it is. How can you SMILE and cry and be sad at the same time. It's unnatural!



Other then those, I kinda forgot about everyone else. But then I forgot about Erina and she joined so my judgement is flawed in the ways of Tsunku. :D



But he better not add all 10 and fail to add Karin, that's just mean. Unless there's a super spectacular solo career going to happen. Which I doubt right now considering her age.

Sara is totally 2001 audition era Makoto Ogawa reborn. I wouldn't mind her getting in.



Osaka Ayumi is probably my favorite, but she got virtually no air time.



Masaki is a pretty little thing, but failed at everything. Still, she'd give Sayu someone else to stalk.



Egg Haruka is cute, but too damn young and looks even younger. If there's going to be an Egg, Karin is the only choice.



All the rest: Meh.

It's interesting that Tsunku says he wants a singer to replace Takahashi in the center position. I have a hard time believing he'll actually do that with a new girl, at least not for a long time. Sara - I like her! She's cute and she can actually sing pretty well. She seems a lot better singing Takahashi's song than whatever it was she was singing in the beginning clip.

Haruka - She was pretty good too, and she's also adorable. I still don't hear the husky voice, but whatever Tsunku. Your comments rarely make sense.

Haruna - Not impressed.

Ayumi - Pretty decent singing.

Masaki - No.



Aaaand I've got nothing on the rest since we didn't see any of them sing! That kind of makes me think it's really down to these 5, but I can't remember how the coverage was for the 9th gen.

Well shit. Something must have happened with Ayumi, because she was one of the most talented in the earlier auditions but didn't get a bit of screen time last week.

Are you thinking of the wrong Ayumi? Because the one that got cut wasn't that great, and she got tons of screen time last episode. (Unless I'm totally getting myself mixed up as well.)



I think I'm in the same boat as most everyone, Sara, Haruka and Ayumi are my favorites. Although Masaki did improve a lot. I remember thinking, "Please, Tsunku, do not add her" but when she sang in recording I thought she was one of the best.



Also, the amount of hand movements Miwa does while singing drives me crazy.

Ishida Ayumi is the good Ayumi and she's still in. The other one wasn't very good.



Haruka, Ayumi, and Sara are still my favorites. I wouldn't mind Satsuki (even though she sucks at everything I know). I just don't really care for the other four. They all look pretty cute when they were idol'ed up except for the one girl with the pigtails (Hinako?). Also, if 9th gen had a dance portion like this, I'm pretty sure Kanon never would have passed.



Voice-wise, there aren't any singing voices that I think I would hate hearing on a song (and I can't say that for every Musume), so no complaints in that area.

UFA's going to add a whole flippin' team to Musume, I just know they are. (And they got rid of the two 11 years olds so they could add Karin and Miyazaki. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... R#>/8o.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='8o' />)



Since I only focused on the singing, Sara, Haruka, Haruna and out of left field my Hokkaido homegirl Masaki comes back into the game. She was such a fail last week, but she made up for it in leaps and bounds. Just imagine more controlled training and she'll be pretty awesome. Hokkaido girls are hard workers.



Satsuki looks the Musume type, but she sucked at the singing. Hinako scared me visually but her voice wasn't bad.



Ayumi kinda fell apart when it came to the singing, but dancing she's still tops.

Tanaka Fuka looks so weird. Her singing sucks. Throw her out.

Haruka Kudo also looks kinda weird, but at least her voice could be interesting in the coming years.



Japan apparently has perfected cloning, since Ayumi Ishida is an Ikuta Erina clone.



Sara Murakami seems like an all around good pick.



Though Haruna's the oldest, I don't like her singing especially much.

There was an Ayumi from Osaka. Tall, long straight hair and darker skin. That's the one I likes and who got no screen time during the training camp episode.

The people I like are Sato, Tanaka, Ishida, Kudo, Murakami and Iikubo. (I couldn't remember first names and just wrote down last names)

I think Ishida didnt do so great singing but her dancing makes up for it. I like Ishida Kudo Murakami and Iikubo from last time, but Tanaka and Sato really made an impression on me! The other two I didn't like.

Sara Murakami all the way. I like her voice (though she gets off key a bit). I thought her dancing lacked a bit of energy.



How the hell can they let a girl who has a frog living in her voice in? Well, Sayumi made it, so anything goes, I guess. Haruka Kudo's 11 and cute, so she's in. zomg 10th gen had the youngest member ever in, whee.



Haruna Ikubo is also decent... Decent voice. I like her because she's 16 :P She's also rather pretty, though her mouth is a bit messed up.



Agreed Masaki Sato made huge improvements. I actually rather like her voice.



Satsuki Miwa. Okay I don't remember this girl from last week, but please don't let her in. My least favorite of the 8. She screamed and yelled her way through that recording. And it wasn't even in tune.



Hinako Ogawa. Looks like she belongs in AKB48. Not a criticism, just sayin'. Her voice is decent.



Fuka Tanaka. Again, I'm a fan of deep voices, but there's something off... I guess she was super-nervous during the recording. Looks it, anyways. Not sure what she would add to the group. I'd be apathetic about her making it I guess, but I think other girls are better.



Ayumi Ishida is fine. Not much else to say LOL Her voice is decent. She's pretty. Needs to leave her hair down all the way lol

Sara Murakami Yes please. I love her voice. She has the potential to be the next Ai vocally.



Haruka Kudo Don't care either way really. I WANTED MIYAZAKI AND KARIN.



Haruna Ikubo She's cute. She's 16. 16. YES.



Masaki Sato I don't remember her much, but I like her fine.



Satsuki Miwa She's okay. I think she's cute and won't mind if she passes.



Hinako Ogawa Eh.

Ayumi Ishida She needs to work on her smile, but very good at dancing, voice is ok. Yes please.

Wow, I didn't even recognize Masaki after her mini makeover.



No particularly original opinions out of me... Ishida is my favorite I think; there's something about the way she carries herself. She's the only one who talks to the camera with any confidence.



Sara I like a lot too. She has a little rockstar in her.



I can't hate Haruka. I've never been able to deal with the thought of adding an 11 year old in the past... but I just can't hate her! Similarly, I wish I liked the 16 year old, but she's pretty blah. It annoys me that of all the (very few) 16 year olds Tsunku has let this far, SHE somehow catches his eye. I don't get it.



The only one I really can't deal with is Satsuki. She's awkward city. Everyone else left pretty much zero impression on me.
