The first Invincible Youth was the reason I fell in love with Sunny, and by extension stopped hating SNSD.



It's kind of like The Simple Life (that bad Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie show from way back when) except less annoying. 7 (or in this case, 8) idol girls go to a podunk town out in the middle of nowhere and do farm work and stuff. There's even glamorous things like digging a pot into the ground for everyone to go to the bathroom in.



The girls make it totally great. Sunny was completely amazing, catching chickens without batting an eyelash and then chasing people with them... correcting people when they called millipedes "centipedes"... <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> I honestly think IY is one of the best idol shows ever. You need to watch it, there are entirely too many priceless moments to list.

Yesss SUNNY COMES BACK. I'm glad about HyoYeon as well, I remember that Sunny and her get along really well, and I kinda want to know her better. Plus she's like a tough girl supposedly, so it'd be cool to see how that works out. I always forget which of the nobodies from KARA is Jiyoung, so I don't really care about her being there, but I guess that's cool too.

Hyoyeon isn't really tough, but she is funny. Also, Jiyoung is the ONLY Kara member whose name I can't ever remember. I keep calling her Jiyeon.

I used to think that Kissing You was their worst single. But now it can give up it's title to The Boys.

It sounds very cool, I like it a lot, but I don't see it making an impact on the US. I wonder if they'll try to market it by saying that Michael Jackson's producer made this song, that's the only "angle" I can remotely see working, and even that's a long shot. Anyway, I like the intro more than the actual song (I wonder if Teddy produced that), but I like both. The English is pretty solid too, though we knew that they're capable of singing English even if they're completely unable to talk in it.

The music video was probably the worst thing I've seen. It's like they found someone at UFA, gave them insane budget and this was all they could come up with.

This video is like a kpop version of Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game. That is not a good thing.



I like fragments of this song - which makes sense, since it sounds like about four song concepts haphazardly thrown on top of each other. I kind of like it, but I expected more. I'm also disappointed that Fany didn't get to sing more, especially considering that she's a native English speaker and the engrish in this song is so bad that I, someone with quite a bit of experience deciphering engrish, can't understand half of the lyrics.

Tiffany apparently helped write the lyrics, so I'm momentarily loving her a bit less than I usually do.









I wasn't expecting much from the MV, though. SM never really go all out.

Korea likes the album it seems, all-kill achieved. I haven't listened super closely to it yet, but it seems good. From what soompi is saying, the song was up higher on the iTunes chart too, #74 on the singles chart and #32 on the pop chart.

Ok I went back and checked. from allkpop "SNSD has their maxi single release in the states scheduled for next month, and their MV should play in Times Square for a month straight, capturing the attention of all the tourists and New Yorkers in the area." Ok not a MINI-album but a MAXI-single. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='<_<' /> Basically it will be atleast 3 songs. It might not be a debut but they are going to release more stuff here in the U.S.
