I can't figure out how Haruna looks so tall but then really isn't. I guess it's her thin frame, maybe paired with her being introduced as having done modeling before? I don't know.

To be fair, Mano looks like a completely normal person, but then in reality she's tiny. You just don't notice it often because being a soloist she's normally by herself.



Also yes, please give Meimi bangs. I love her, but this hairstyle is killin' me. ^^;

It's a good time to be a H!P fan, so many new faces, Akari really IS boss, but then she is the unstoppable force to Haruka's Immoveable object, those guys both kick ass.



I'm really happy with all the new additions, I wasn't sure about Mizuki for a long time, but she seems to have settled on the "I'm talented but shy" image, aka Risako Ver. 2.0



All of 10th gen are awesome, Haruna is fashionable, Kudou is boss, Ishida is talented, determined and she's a good speaker in front of the camera and Masaki..... well she makes me lol everytime she tries to do something and fails, I really hope she doesn't get professional at it, they should tell her to keep doing it, it's great!

I won't lie. I saw those preview pictures earlier today, and went straight to Amazon Japan and ordered it. (Along with the new Hello Channel and C-ute PB)

Edit: Found naked Maki. She's such a gorgeous girl, but I feel like her body size constantly looks different in photos. One minute you can see bones and she looks sickly thin, the next she's got a nice round booty and looks healthy. Unless she has some crazy weight fluctuation, or she's constantly being photoshopped to look bigger or smaller in certain areas.

They do this with Mariko from AKB as well. So it's probably the photoshop thing. She's probably a bit on the thin side, with a bit of bone coming out, so they just smooth it all away. Oh well, this is the age we live in.

Nah, they're actually quite tasteful and hardly showing any more skin or bits than a standard bikini photo would. It's just the fact that there's no bikini underneath that's the tease - although, as I said, it's tasteful and just pretty, without cheap sleaziness and innuendo as far as I've seen. I feel the fully dressed-up photos from her "special" Aikotoba PB are much more offensive and image-tarnishing.

I can see where this is coming from though, as any thought of the current or former H!P members doing something erotic or having even a smallest bit of sexuality seems to be making people lose their minds. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> But it's not fair to bundle everything together like that, because there are so many ways to approach those subjects, and I think with Maki they chose the tasteful approach (excuse me that I don't double-check it while at work). But then, it's up to everyone's personal taste too, so YMMV.

I think PQ was just kidding with the comment about Kago/Maki? But anyway, I'd agree that the "nudes" I saw of Maki were tasteful. Are these in the same photobook as the pictures of her in the trampy makeup sitting around smoking? I thought those were much less tasteful pictures than the semi-nudes that are going around.



I think the reason people flip out about former H!P girls doing nude photos is that they in general come off as desparate. Kago's photobooks definitely had that vibe, while Maki has made a little more natural of a progression towards a sexy image that started back when she was still in H!P. But for Maki, she's supposedly not an idol anymore, she's an ~*artist*~. It would have been nice if her post-H!P career had been defined more by awesome music and less by how awesome she looks in pictures. I think Avex has spent a lot more money photoshopping her butt than they have producing her music.

While the pictures that came with the CD book look trashy, the making of video for the book is completely the opposite. She's smiling and joking around the whole time. They were just going for an "edgy" image, but it didn't really come off as that.

Aika's having another FC event in January to celebrate her birthday, with 9th gen members as guests. She had the kyuukies at her last one as well. Mizuki and Eripon the first day, Zukki and Riho on the second.
