I've come to the realization that I can't stare at Kikka's face too long. It makes me want to hurt puppies and kick things. And I love puppies. :<



I haven't really LOVED anything she's done so far so I'll have to wait and see what the album tracks are like.

This is what I've been thinking since her second single ;_; At least Kikka is gorgeous and I don't really mind all the closeups but some variety would be nice <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' />



I don't get why people would want Fuyuzora on here? It's a fantastic song but having it be both a b-side and an album track doesn't make up for it not being an A-side. I'd much rather see more new content than a bunch of b-sides taking up space :( I'm still excited for this though, I might even get the LE. Kikka performances are hard to find since she hasn't had an official tour yet and her opening performances for the Winter H!P show weren't included on the DVD :(



Edit: I misread, there's only one performance! Lame. Oh well, RE it is xD

I don't mind Fuyuzora Hanabi not being there. I only mentioned it because I know lots of people were hoping it would be on the album so they wouldn't need to buy the single if they wanted it.



Knight Flight sounds like it has cool potential.

Her covers have actually all been good; I'm just the resident naysayer of mediocrity when it comes to Kikka. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> Variety would be nice, but do one thing well rather than five things only marginally so IMO. So long as Universal doesn't mess up her close-ups into horrible covers, it's alright by me. I've seen close-up covers gone wrong before, so at least Kikka's are done well. They're just boring is all.



And I know, I know. I just really would like to pretend Kikkake wa You didn't happen because it was so very disappointing for a debut song. In my fantasy land, Fuyuzora is the only worthwhile track she's ever released, so it deserves a spot on my CD rack. And I really hate buying singles because they're overpriced and albums are better in terms of material, but ah well. Kikkake wa You it is.

No, I want Fuyuzora to be spread across the lands too! But I bought the single, so I guess I don't need it on the album. Kick off Kikkake wa You and put on Fuyuzora so I can be in ideal land!



That reg cover...ugh. Her smile bothers me. It has a Joker look to it. I want the limited cover on regular edition because I hate that cover. -sigh- I'll get the regular edition and be disappointed just like Momoclo's first album.

The first cover looks kind of like a school picture, but the second one is really pretty. That freckle by her eye is adorable.

This is out now! My copy just came in the mail yesterday, so I'm listening at work today.





～Ignition～ - Pointless instrumental intro. It makes me sad that this means there are even less new songs (with Kikka singing them), but it's kind of cool I guess.



Knight Flight - I didn't expect this to be a ballad. Kikka sounds pretty but this is pretty boring and forgetable. There's no real emotional build.



Time to zone - This is a bit like Kikkake wa YOU in that it's kind of generic idol pop, but I think it's cute and catchy.



会いたくなったら - Another bland ballad. I do like the low voice she uses during the verses and the instrumental is prettier than Knight Flight's, so this will probably grow on me. But ugh, I feel like I've heard this song 500 times before.



ヒラヒラ星 - Robo Kikka! The album is finally getting more interesting. This reminds me a bit of Perfume. It's got a very electronic sound but in a light and kind of soothing way. Despite all the autotune it's really pleasent to listen to.



ありのままの I LOVE YOU! - I thought this was going to be awesome based on the intro and then all of a sudden it was 90's slow R&B. Sigh. This one bores me.



ハコの中のブルー - Now this is more like it! Kikka hasn't really done anything rockish so far. It's sort of Buono-y which is a good thing. Probably my favorite song on the album.



Make YOU! - This is nice, reminds me of an anime theme a bit.



Overall I'm pretty disappointed in the album. What we've heard on her singles and b-sides so far is much better. There are only two songs I really like and a lot of okay to blah.
