What are you listening to right now ?

Guy at work brought in a collection of his new girlfriends CDs. A lot Korn, Nine Inch Nails and Rob Zombie, also Bjork, White Stripes and Marilyn Manson. It was like my high school days revisited and back when MTV wasn't all reality hiphop apple sauce. I also asked nicely if I could borrow the CDs and copy them, and he let me. Free music is always a win!



I also worry about this girlfriend of his considering her collection of CDs, some I didn't take because they were beyond me or not my style. Very grunge goth? Is that a style of music?



I feel exempt for criticism since I listen to anything and everything.

Just got the 80KIDZ HOTSTUFF EP.



Turbo Town is mostly electric guitar though. It's amazing how they sound so different in each of the 5 songs. Maybe it's easier to accomplish this since it's mostly an instrumental album.



Considering French Attack!, Vol. 5, which came out yesterday...

I don't listen to much outside of MM. I listen to a few other H!P songs. There is a couple of songs by Namie and Koda I like. Any suggestions on what or who to look into. I also have a bit of KAT-TUN.

I've had Namie Amuro's Higher stuck in my head for the past 3 or 4 days. Learning the lyrics and finding the translation and listening to the instrumental have not deterred it despite exposure to all of those being kind of good-shattering pieces of content. The instrumental sounds really light aired (where the normal version is kind of darker); the Japanese lyrics' ambiguity were mysterious; and I'm weary of finding the English lyrics to songs because they make a lot of songs seem hokey, but the writing is really interesting and motivating.

You should probably list your favorite MM songs, since they have such a crazy variety of song styles.



I guess the easiest suggestion would be to look up TNX acts, since Tsunku is responsible for their music too. I recommend beginning with Canary Club, The Possible, & Tokito Ami.



Also listen to the CD version of I love you Watashi no Kimi. The performance ver. is kind of fuzzy.

Well when it comes to MM, there are probably 5-10 singles I don't have and it would take up to much space to name all my favorites. I prefer faster more up-beat songs. I also like darker sounding music. When it comes to ballads, the have to be catchy, something like Silver no Udedokei (did I spell that right? I did it off the top of my head) Oh dont forget Genki style songs as well

I've been listening to a lot of Broadway musicals recently. I'm stuck on the 10th anniversary celebration of Les Miserables. I can't get over how amazing everything sounds. This is one of my favorites: Les Mis: On My Own.

I was watching this mornings episode of Live With Kelly, and Girls Generation performed. Kelly said that they were taking over the States and to go by their album. So apparently K-pop is getting REAL big in the states. So I want to see a J-pop group on a show in the states. Live With Kelly should get MM or Berryz. They could gt Berryz to perform when the come to New Jersey
