Be it teeth whitening/replacing or something more drastic.

Veneers are big in kpop. Taeyeon and Hyoyeon have both got them. The others probably do as well. If you asked me, though, I'd say Yoona, Seohyun and Taeyeon are the most natural. I think the others have probably had varying amounts of work done. A lot of people have been noticing how strained/different some of their faces have been looking the past year and a half or so.

I'm biased when it comes to Taeyeon, but I also think she looks very similar to her school photos.

Of course only when she's not wearing makeup.

The lighter hair color and brighter makeup she had for the past year or so makes her look quite different though.



But I don't look up all the gossip and comparison shots etc., so I wouldn't know anything about them for sure.

And on the topic of the English release of The Boys, I think SM just rethought how much effort they'd like to put into a venture into the US, figured out they didn't want to put in as much effort as is truly necessary, and so backed out. I don't blame them; it'd be a waste of time and just annoy the fans SNSD already have since it'd be at least a year-long effort to break into a foreign market just so SM can have bragging rights. Accept that they dominate sales in Japan and Korea, stop being greedy, and chill. Depending on price and if I ever see one in stores, I might pick up a copy of the album though.

The album is ten bucks at Best Buy. They had it in store in Greenwood Indiana, so I would assume they pretty much have it everywhere.

They tried way too hard to focus on the dancing and even used the extended version of the song with more dance breaks in it for their American debut. Too bad 90% of Americans don't give a flying fuck about choreographed dancing. And yeah, its really weird Bill Murray was there, he hasn't really made any public appearances in YEARS after his whole scandal thing broke and I read a few interviews with him since then saying he really doesn't like show business at all anymore.

The Letterman performance was...alright. You can tell only the girls with hand-held mics were actually present in the mix and everything else was lipsynced. I liked the live drum/SFX additions, but they really mixed down the crunchy guitar, especially near the end choruses. What's up with those dance breaks? They're totally just thrown in.



The Kelly performance would have finiished about 20, 25 minutes ago and I ended up only catching part of a really short talk segment.

Holy shit! I expected something terrible (when I was bothering to expect anything), but that was awesome! The redone instrumentation was awesome, and thankfully the lipsync synced up well with the live singing, and those who entirely lipsynced or damn near (Hi Jessica) didn't look terribly obvious to the untrained eye. I just want to reiterate that Seohyun's a beast, and I was proud of Tae for hitting her "heart" note. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wub:' />
