I've never really watched the digests back when they first showed up on Dohhh! Up, but now it's like a nostalgia trip because of The Possible, S/mileage (+ new gen), Mizuki, Kikka, and Karin.

Wow, that's great stuff. Thanks, Valerie! I would definitely buy Egg concert DVDs if they ever made them available.

Are they all from one concert or from the two separate ones?

It was great spotting a pre-MM Mizuki, probably the earliest glimpses I've seen of her. It's really exciting to see them step out of the shadows of the H!P star groups and take center stage for once, esp. the ones who've always deserved greater exposure, e.g. Arisa, Sayaka, and Konatsu. And that's equally true of the backstage footage.

I don't recall hearing anything about her other than the fact that she posted on some forum about the training camp details. Apparently if you pay attention you can kind of see parts of like her hands and legs in the specials they had about it. They just edited her out of the clips.

I guess it's okay to let people know you passed up until that point, because Zukki would apparently get on forums and let everyone know she made it to the next round.

It's most likely "DOBBU-ROKKU," because from what I've picked up googling "THE Stress rap," I pull up this site which credits the rap to someone by the name of DOB-ROK. (>ラップ：秋田犬 DOB-ROK)

Rika Ishii (still releaseing music

Miwa Kominato (started a band called "Priest")

RuRu Honda (released several albums in China from 2001-2007),

Mami Suenaga (still releasing music),

Michiyo Heike (released music from 2002-2007),

Aya Ishiguro (sang on various anime albums)

and recently Asuka Fukuda (with Peacestone)

Ibuki Oki and Chelsea Ching went into modeling (Sayaka Ichii and Lehua Sandbo too a few years later), Asuza Kobayashi did gravure photobooks and cosplay, Saki Arai went to Russia to study Russian, Rinne was going to be an actress but only did one stage play, Miho Shinoda went back to couching gymnasts, Danielle Delaunay was in a band (which never released anything) and is avocal couch, Chinatsu Miyoshi does coocking shows in South Korea.

Ami Kitagami was an aidoru (appearing at tv shows) for a short time. I hav eno idea what happened to April Barbaran though, I guess she went back to an ordinary life.

3) Miki Fujimoto auditioned (for the same audition as 4th gen) but didn't pass. She was later given a solo career. Same with Mai Satoda. She joined Country Musume later instead.

Don't forgot Miuna (who didn't make the sixth generation auditions but joined Country) and Miyoshi (who auditioned for second generation and made the audition in 2004 to join v-u-den). Also, Karen auditioned twice for MM but now is a soloist on NGP.

That's true!

I read at the Japanese wikipedia that she entered the 6th Country Musume audition in January, 2003. She was also voted and selected as the 3rd favorite in the nation for the 6th generation of Morning Musume.

Question about Berryz' Ai no Album 8, the edition that comes with a DVD.

There's no tracklist on Generasia. Does anyone have one?

What's the name of the song that's performed on the DVD seven times (differing only in that the camera focuses on a different girl in each version)? The performance is from the H!P Winter 2012 concert.

Why is that song NOT included on the album? (Its inclusion could only have helped a lackluster album.)

In the latest C-ute album, Dai Nana Sho "Utsukushikutte Gomenne," they also have a DVD with a song performance repeated five times like that, except that the song, "Sekaiichi HAPPY na Onna no ko," is indeed included on the album. Oh, and it's a much better album than the BK album. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... joyful.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':joyful:' />

I regret my use of the word "lackluster" to describe the BK album. I'm listening to it again while working on a blog entry on it and I'm really warming up to it. (I think it's my fourth listen.)

Now that I have a scanner, I can easily show what it is I'm talking about when I have a question.

I bought this DVD at Book Off. When I got it home, I checked it out and it's about two hours of backstage footage and interviews from Hello! Project shows in 1999-2000, featuring MM, Michiyo Heike, Coconuts Musume (with members I'd never even seen before), Country Musume and Melon Kinenbi. I can't tell who narrates it. There's a shot of them rehearsing outdoors in a rainstorm in Hokkaido.

Can anyone tell me what the full title is?

And does it say who narrates it?

It's "Idol wo Sagase! History" oh with a subtitle of "HaroPuro Member Soushutsuen"

You have volume one. "Idol wo Sagase" was the H!P TV show that ran from '99-'02.
