Anyways, the song is starting to grow on me and the video is AMAZING. The symbolism of the girls in the EbiKachu outfits and the new girls makes me tear up. I can't wait for the full thing!

I finally watched the full PV as well...or tried to. The bikini part would be good if it didn't have absurd super-ADD editing where it doesn't remain on any shot for more than a half a second, and even those shots, its moving or sweeping or something. You can't even focus on anything, it just made my head hurt. And the parts where everyone is dead/dying just look terrible, they're shot equally as bad and ADD-ish. The song is slightly more tolerable in full quality, but the chorus is still so fucking boring I want to cry. Definitely a pass for me.

I kinda doubt it, since there's more or less a dictatorship in the music industry there and I wouldn't think they'd be too keen on some JP producer taking part in it. They'd probably feel like Aki-P is stealing all the "talent" they could put into all the Korean groups.

I watched the first and second episode of AKB0048 and I love it. It brings together three of my favorite things, Idols, anime and fighting. Now if only we could throw in a magical girl aspect instead of the robots I would be super happy. If you have checked it out I really think you should.

The anime is crazy, they just like took everything in, mixed it up and made an anime. And there is a magical girl aspect if you count those weird little squid looking things.

I've started looking for her in AKB videos and now I actually care about the Senbatsu election cause I wanna see where her and Mariko end up now that Maeda isn't up for election.

Sasshi is definitely one of the top members who will just "grow on you" like no other. She's still not quite what I'd consider a favorite of mine, but she's grown on me so much in the last few months its hard to even describe. Soredemo Suki Dayo is infectious as all hell, and she does a cover of Yeah! Meccha Holiday as a b-side. It took a while for her to stand out for me, but she's absolutely adorable and she's far more honest than most idols. She's always the first one to talk about how she has little self-confidence and is often very sad, and its endearing to have an idol who steps beyond the ideal image of what they should be to just be honest about how she feels.



She is also now working with H!P, Idoling!!!, Momoiro Clover, and many other idols to organize concerts and events, so she has lots of ties with the idol industry outside of AKB now, and its getting a lot of people's attention.

I've seen a lot of Itano hate out there lately. There have been a few public outcries lately of fan/former fans trolling her and bashing her singing abilities and solo live events, etc. Maybe people are just getting tired of her now or finding now that she's getting so much attention that they want to switch to supporting someone who is still an underdog. This seems to happen a lot.
