I really like all the covers but is it only me or is Erina making a weird face on the 9th gen cover? Also I'm not really feeling her hair on the cover either.

She's gotten a lot better, though! I'll never forget her horrible faces when she first joined.

I always thought her being kind of a lovable dork was her appeal. She almost always has that smile. I think it's cute.

It was one San's.

I'm talking about her deer-in-headlights blank stare from when she first joined though. If that's loveable dork, that's one very frightened dork. I almost feel like I should find a picture from back in those days and avatar it.

Also, one weaboo honorific is one too many. I don't even hate weaboos like some people, but for some reason it buuuurrrns. (More like the possibility of seeing it reoccur in other threads and comments burns.)

The Japanese description on all editions still says "Sung by all 11 members" and lists her as being part of the 6th gen song. Since everything else about the description is accurate, I can't imagine that it was a guess on their part or a generic writeup. If that's true, I wonder if the song hadn't been written yet when her graduation was announced, or if it had and Tsunku made up the BS about how he wrote it with Sayu and Reina in mind.
That's interesting, good find. I'm definitely glad that she didn't go through the adopted generation treatment for long. Her solo track from Platinum 9 DISC is enough proof that Tsunku knows that she's forgettable. I also firmly believe that they knew planned that Aika would graduate/be out of the group far before there was any announcement. The injury situation probably just made the excuses easier for them. If Takahashi would have gotten a serious leg injury... Hell, they'd probably decorate her crutch/chair and make her stand out even more than ever thought possible.
Her solo from platinum 9 DISC is one of the best songs on there IMHO.

I agree with Bonkyu. Platinum 9 kinda sucked for me but Aika's song was really good.

I hate to jump on you too, but if you want to use -san, you can use the english equivalent and call her "Miss Erina". If you think that sounds ridiculous, then you see why we find it silly. If you think it sounds okay, then use that and you won't have members scolding you.

Sorry. I was referring more to her expression in the comedy part of Reborn Inochi audition. And I think it was at a ninth gen fan club event where Riho and Erina had a comedy act. She was a loveable dork there.

It looks like they're going to have posters (although no one knows what they look like). All of the generation edition's (B, D, F) posters are sold out at CDJapan. Order one of the others and you'll still get a poster. A-3 sized.

Neowing, Shinseido, Tower Records, Tsutaya Records, Yamano Music, and HMV orders will also come with posters. I haven't checked any of these to see if their posters are out but someone at H!O said LE D's poster is sold out at Neowing.

Going to copy and paste from jplop (narz) some other promotion:

"bayFM ON8 will have a month long Morning Musume 50th Single release commemoration. Every Thursday starting June 7th to June 28th (8pm), they will play special messages from graduated members to talk about their memories in Morning Musume. bayFM will also play both new songs during the month."

For those who want to listen to the messages:

Yuko's

Kei's

There are also release events scheduled for 7/28 in Tokyo and 7/29 in Osaka. Which is way too late if you ask me, but whatever UFA.

As for Ayumi's event, you get a handshake ticket if you pre-order the single and apparently 400 tickets have been bought so far, so good for her.

AWW HELL. Grabbed the regular edition, though if FP was available for the gen editions I would've grabbed those too. The DVD versions are... maybe if they had a good PV like Ai's last single.

I grabbed the member editions off HMV Japan. I may grab a regular edition off CDJapan next week when I go and order that berryz/c-ute book if they are still available.

Yes and I guess so? I'm not sure. (I don't know how to tell.)

The fact that this is so hard to get probably means first day sales are going to be epic. Image

I only meant that the song's meaning parallels how most people don't get what's so great about her. Tsunku was obviously commenting on this. It would be interesting to go back & read the liner notes that he wrote about that track...

Because of this, I have now learned that there's a IRC chat for the BBS

Does anyone know what music videos come with which version? Because all I could find was that there's going to be "another version" of the music video and that's all that's going to be on the DVDs. Isn't there usually more than one MV on each DVD?

That PV is all I've seen listed anywhere. But TMS will probably have an MV too since it's a double A-side, so I guess it would probably be on a few editions along with a dance shot. I guess, anyway.

Aw man, I really want a 9th gen poster :( I'd find a way to make room for it somewhere. I preordered the RE on CDJapan before posters were even mentioned, so I guess I'm getting that one? Which is still cool, but 9th gen poster T_T

I guess I'l be entering that contest.

I don't actually know if the editions with the generations on them have just them on the posters. It's just that if you order one of their editions now, you won't get a poster at all.

Whoa, what in the world! MM's selling so quickly, I don't even have time to know what comes on what edition! And jeez, I at least wanted to hear the gen songs before deciding which one I wanted, but POSTEEERR. Ergh, conflict...

EDIT: Wait, now I'm even more confused based on what CDjapan has listed. Other than still having Unknown Title listed for the three gen songs, they also have the Single V tracklist with just the PVs One Two Three, One Two Three (Another version), and a Making Of. We've clearly already seen the Dance shot version already, so why isn't that one listed? I'd say they're pulling another Resonant Blue on us and having the Dance shot be the standard PV, but the official UFA Youtube page even has it titled "Dance version," so now I'm just confused...

Tsunku talked about viewing the PV but apparently it wasn't good enough so they were doing some more work on it. Take that as you will.

In the meantime, in case anyone is wondering who they're going up against that week, 2PM/2AM (holy crap it has LE K ) , Yamapi, A.B.C-Z (debuting Johnny's), Kim Hyung Joong and Super Girls are all releasing that week, so competition is going to be tough.
