The photography for this MV is great. I know nothing about cameras, but the colors look a lot brighter than your usual H!P MV.

Speaking of this, notice that the video is shot (most likely cropped in postproduction) in a 2.20:1 aspect, like the old Super Panavision 70 movies (2001: A Space Odyssey, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, etc.).

I'm not on the "he's just holding off" train. Either they realized the dance shot was absolute crap and did a reshoot (unlikely, but they're trying to make this a big release) or the editor is taking his candy-ass time doing revisions.

I've actually grown to like the dance shot quite a bit. It seems to have gotten a ton of good attention of youtube, so it's hardly a failure.





Most likely reason for the MV delay: to allow H!P to focus its limited promotional powers on the Berryz-C-ute release, which is today.

Example One:



Sony Music Shop will be selling a Morning Musume 50th single special box set with all 7 versions for 9,240 yen and comes with a special ticket for a polaroid photo-op with an MM team, which is held on 9/8 and 9/17. They will be split into two teams:

Team One Two Three - Sayu, Riho, Kanon, Ayumi, Kudou

Team The Matenrou Show - Reina, Mizuki, Eripon, Haruna, Masaki



Example Two:



Morning Musume. One・Two・Three / The Matenrou Show INDIVIDUAL handshake events on 8/25 in Osaka and 10/6 in Tokyo at the "TOKYO BIG SIGHT Tokyo International Exhibition Center." One handshake ticket = a handshake from one member.





This approach (more editions with more unique content, combined with a poloroid shot for fans who buy a box set) really worked for C-ute's last single, doubling their normal sales. Hopefully the same thing can happen for Momusu.

The Single V looks pretty good! Masaki doesn't quite have her serious face down yet, but they all look so good. Could it be that Tsunku is delaying the release so he can add The Matenrou Show along with One Two Three. Like he did with Ai's single. Just a thought as to why he keeps delaying.



EDIT: I just got home from Bible School and I am watching the HD version of One Two Three and I love it better. So much clearer :) Makes me happy :) The colors are so bright and pretty!!!!!

Wow I was just about to post that. I really can not believe this, he needs to come on what the hell is so special about this video that he can't release it. This better be the dam best PV Morning Musume has ever had or I'm really gonna be pissed that it took this long to get it out when it should have been out last week.
