Excellent. I'll probably just be doing a single day pass situation since I have no interest in AWA outright. I live very close to Atlanta. I have a car, so if we meet for food or something and someone needs a ride that's fine. I just won't be there all weekend.

Well, if I make it I personally would just want to go for Kikka myself. I have very little to no interest in an anime con as well.

I haven't thought to look at passes so I'll go ahead and do that real quick and budget...

If there is merch, it will probably end up being the same debacle as AnimeNEXT. We waited in line for the dealer's room to open, and then in line inside the dealer's room for hours, and everything but the cd was sold out by the time I got to the table. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson and bring more stuff, but I kind of doubt it.

But yay for an idol coming to a more convenient place (for me at least :D) I'm probably going to go.

I couldn't want to go more, especially after how amazing it was to see everyone at Anime Next. That, and well, it's Kikkawa Yuu. I've adored her since she auditioned for H!P, clamored for her to be put to use when she was shelved for so long, adored her in Milky Way, and followed every little bit and blurb of her singing alone until she finally debuted as a full-fledged soloist. And keep in mind, I'm someone who typically only watches live perfs or PVs when I'm at Steve's (or another friend's) house. I rarely keep up with stuff properly when at home. Despite this, I've watched her performance from Coming Soon (of her third single) some 100+ times - at home. I literally just queue it up whenever and can't get sick of it.



Requesting off work wouldn't be a problem, as it's so many months away (and not a weekend where any co-workers would have requested off already.) The issue, unlike at Anime Next, would be the cost of housing and/or getting down there. In New Jersey, we stayed with our friend Eli, and so the cost of housing and transport was literally zero. My mom also used some of her flier miles to get my plane ticket for free; it barely used any miles because the tickets were going for so cheap. That could be a potential solution to the plane ticket issue again, but yeah, the housing thing. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />
