There are toooons of blogs that don't get translated. I put them in order of importance - people who are still in H!P being most important, and then OGs kind of by how excited people seem to be when we randomly translate one of their entries.



Most important:

Everyone in S/mileage except Kana

Mano Erina



Less important:

Tsuji Nozomi (although someone else might be doing this at another site?)

Kago Ai

Miyamoto Karin

Yaguchi Mari



Least important:

Yasuda Kei

Iida Kaori

Nakazawa Yuko

Ishikawa Rika

Ogawa Makoto





Personally I think it would be much more helpful to have a new translator work on Erina or someone in S/mileage, but if you're more interested in Mari/Kei, go for what you actually have the will to translate. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Is anyone laying claim to Eripon? She's blogging a TON, but I don't want to spend a bunch of time taking screen caps if no one is going to translate her entries. I know rob originally laid claim, but he seems pretty busy?

This is the first time I've visited the bbs and read any H!P related stuff since I posted about being too busy to do Kanon's blog



I do feel bad for not being able to continue with Kanon's blogs but lack of free time and lack of interest in S/mileage as a whole.... well it's a hell of a combination!



When I get some regular free time again I'm really interested in continuing translating, hopefully that can be soon!

Yes! I actually had someone from H!O who was going to look into the app and try to screencap the Berryz entries for me, but she hasn't provided anything yet... I think she might be having trouble finding them. ^^; If you're able to post them pretty easily, that'd be great! Especially since it doesn't seem like they're posting very often. I get a lot of assistance from the web on kanji, so translating from pictures takes longer for me. XD



A question though... are the dates they posted the entries the 7/25 or 7/21? Not sure if the 7/25 is tied to the post or just the date you're reading it...

Edit: Ahh, looking at the content, I guess it's the 21st. ^^;

Thanks for taking these! I can post them easy enough. If there are pictures I don't always have time to cut them out myself, but hopefully you could do that? It looks like they pretty much just post around the dates of the shows, so it'll probably be 2 weeks until we see any more (except from Eripon, who never stops xD)



The entries are both dated 7/25. The dates are tied to the post, not the date I read it. Even though they're talking about the concerts on 7/21-22, a couple didn't appear on the app until a few days later.

Oh, I'm not sure if I'll do much of C-ute's since they have a daily blog already... though Berryz would be awesome since they currently have nothing (aside from Captain).



I should certainly be able to cut out pictures - I do picture editing all the time anyway for things I translate.

Btw, aisasami - You might want to make a translator's note in your entries about the puns Eripon is using so lines like "Good Luck Ikuta" make more sense. She writes "ganbatte ikuta!!!" which is a play on "ganbatte ikuzo/ikuze" - similar to how Reina does "Ganbareina."

So far there haven't been any other than the ones I've already translated, other than two Mizuki ones I was going to do tonight. They don't have individual blogs for each girl (other than Eripon's special blog), it's just one big blog for all of H!P and they seem to add about one entry a day from a different girl. But when the other girls do pop up I'll post them here for you :)

I usually handle puns like that by keeping them in the entry in Japanese ( so "Ganbatte Ikuta!") and then putting a foot note at the end explaining the pun and what the phrase means. So something like:



Ganbatte Ikuta!*

*Eripon is making a pun between her name and the phrase "ganbatte ikuzo" (I'll do my best!)







Side note: I haven't been able to do any translations lately because my office is going through a move. Normally I translate on my lunch break but the internet has yet to be installed in our new building and when I get home I'm basically exhausted from all the move crap and don't want to do anything. I get a four day weekend as my reward for all this crap, so I'll catch up then.

I have a translation question. How would you translate "キメキメ" in English? Erina uses this word in her recent concert blog to describe that super long medley in the wkwk concert (しかも超キメキメで言ってるので...). I know it's for slang for something but I don't know the exact meaning. Thanks in advance.

This Mari post is categorized as both Yaguchi Mari and Uncategorized and is appearing on the blog twice. Can someone uncheck uncategorized so it just displays once as a Mari post?
