I wish I could hammer this into tsunku's head, imagine seeing the OG's doing some of the newer songs, doesn't need to be brand new, but nanchatte renai or shouganai etc

Or, from the H!P repertoire, why not "Dakishimete, Dakishimete"? Or "Bye Bye Bye" or "Midnight Temptation"? The possibilities are endless. The OGs are as good as they've ever been--let 'em loose!



Although, I imagine that having them do the old songs is easier and less time-consuming than having them learn the words and choreography for a bunch of songs they've never done before.

When I watched the performance I was SUPER disappointed at first. They just put out a single that sold really well! Sayu JUST did that interview about how frustrated she is with exactly this crap!



But after I thought about it, I decided to let this one slide. For one, NO ONE performed new material during 24hrTV. Even Arashi did older songs, and they're a zillion times more popular than MM. The ALFEE did their old hit Hoshizora no Distance, Natsukawa Rimi did Nada Sou Sou, etc. You also have to take into account the theme of 24hrTV. It's an inspirational charity show. The theme this year was "the future" (dreams/hopes/ambitions). One.Two.Three wouldn't have fit at all. Kono Chikyuu would have worked perfectly, or it would have been cool to see them do Hey Mirai, but since no one else did anything like that I'm not as disappointed.



I do hope that if MM gets invited to any actual music shows this year they do new songs though.
