If you look at the Japanese on the left, you'll notice that it says (Fake) in English there too. That means that's what's written in the original lyrics. Why she pronounces it so weirdly has always been a mystery.

I mean I know it's a Nissin tie-in and Kanon, Mirei, Sayaka, and Robin are involved but is there other information (like the coupling since it sounds like it's just an acoustic version but more mature, deeper vocals are involved and I wonder who sings that song

I don't think it was an actual physical single, just a downloadable song. As far as I know, there was no coupling. Maybe it's a fan mix? Or from some special event?

You can find the acoustic version.



She is CHINO (高柳千野 Takayanagi Chino). As one of the chorus members, she often supports H!P and appeared on Hamonepu.

Actually one of the easier finds as it was freely available on the Nissen page :-))

Btw the filename sora ga aru (acoustic) is a bit misleading as it's not the instrumental version but sung by I believe Azumi Inoue (http://www.kingrecords.co.jp/inoueazumi/)

The MM girls do some great stepping in this segment and easily win it. I didn't note the name of the show and now I can't find the clip on YouTube. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

No Takahashi solo. It's mostly in unison with harmonies in places which aren't represented in the color-coding on PH. It's possible that some of the verse lines are small groups rather than everyone in unison. Would you like me to rip it?

The first ever version of the song that was released was leaked by an Ice Creamusume member and was their study tool for their version of the song. It's the one that starts out with like, the cow bell. In that version, there are solos.



The one you linked, is the demo version, they just cut off the cow bell thing at the start.

This is probably nitpicking, but why is aMa no Jaku read as it is? I've seen it written as one whole word but the writing is in kanji so why is the "M" capitalized?

It's actually written in hiragana (since we're being nitpicky <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ). It's written like this: ぁまのじゃく. The "a" is small, which is just an artistic decision on Tsunku's part, since it doesn't change the romanization or meaning at all. I imagine that whoever romanized the title was trying to in some way make the romaji match the original title - so instead of capitalizing the first letter of the word, they wrote it lowercase and capitalized the second letter to emphasize that the "a" was small. Technically if you wanted to match the Japanese, it would have to be written something like "ama no jaku".

My close personal friend PQ said I was being missed <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... umbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />. I still have a look at the H!P news every once in a while to see what's happening and I was very pleased to see how well the last MM single sold. I may have fallen out of love with them but it would be great to see them have an upsurge of support again.



It's really only Buono! that I follow now in H!P and Dream MM of course. I've recently started listening a lot to Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru both of whom I love as well as a lot of the female (or at least female vocalist) JRock bands like Aldious, Aphasis Exist Trace, FLip, LIGHT BRINGER, Dazzle Vision and Stereopony as well as my old favourites: Scandal, Kalafina and FictionJunction.

Yes, Buono! remains awesome. I just received their latest album and latest concert. I haven't listened/watched yet. And I'm way behind when it comes to Ayu. The last album of hers I have is "Love Songs" from December 2010, which I liked a lot. Anything since then that you'd recommend? Thanks.
