I think it will depend on when her band will start coming into action. Then we'll get a message that she wants to concentrate on that.

Ok, calling it now...

Tanaka Reina's days as a member of Morning Musume are coming to an end... SOON!

I'll be VERY surprised if she is still a member by the end of the year / winter tour

[/quote]

So she'll be graduating with Mano Erina, and they'll ride off into the sunset together? Sucks if you're a Reina fan and no one bothered to tell you in advance. Image

They could either pull a Rika (V-u-den) or a Tsuji/Kago (W) with Reina. Since Reina is bringing along with her a bunch of unknowns, I would hope she would pull a Rika. Get the fans use to the idea and THEN graduate her (Rika had about 9 months). But even then, that's about half a year or more worth of Reina in Morning Musume. But with Sakura coming in, I'm sure Reina wont be the focus as much in at least the next few singles.

Reina won't graduate at an H!P concert. Her sendoff will be cause for another arena concert.

All this talk about Reina's graduation is giving me spaz-attacks. (It'll be the end of the world for me!!!)

Tsunku does seem like the person to use her for concert promotion, but having her own special concert would be amazing.

Masaki's interview in the new Girls News episode is awesome. She really does understand English quite well, although she can't answer with more than one word.

There's also a good segment on C-ute's rising popularity and how female fans are contributing to it.

An amazing interview with MM's loli aces over at B!P.

Riho don't sweat no haters, Kuduu is wise beyond her years, and the Magic of Masaki is the glue holding Morning Musume together.

I love it that Riho is discussing Sayumi's "mental state."

I think they should just go ahead and kick Reina and Sayumi out and make Riho the leader and Haruka the sub-leader and then leave the group at nine members for an indefinite period. These girls are certainly the best thing to happen to MM since, at least, Miki.

You'd have to kick out a lot of other people out to make that happen. If 6th gen left, Mizuki would become leader and Erina would be sub-leader (if there even was one).

What does "heating the bathwater" mean?

Sato Masaki: (ignoring her) I can’t fill the bath with hot water, and since I can’t be relied on for it, I was talking the whole time from the instant I got in the room about things unrelated to the bath. Then, she finally said, “Are you taking a bath? Should I heat the water?” and I replied, “Eh? You can heat it?”! Then, “Masaki-san, you can’t heat a bath?” “Ah, I don’t mean that I’m concluding you can’t do it……” Like that.

(...)

Then she asked me, “What temperature is good for you?” I didn’t know what to say since until now Kuduu had been setting the temperature and such, so I said, “Normal is ok.” Then, since Oda-san said, “What is a normal temperature?” I thought, “What should I do!?” (lol) But I said “Whatever temperature Oda-san likes”…… I really worked hard! At that conversation! And then she heated it for me but I was called outside the room. By the time I got back it’d already gotten cold, so I just took a shower and slept. So Oda-san was attentive to each one of my needs, and is reliable, and good at singing……

It's literal, not a metaphor or anything. In Japan most baths are more like hot tubs without the jets. They're only used for soaking after you've gotten all clean in the shower, so families will share the water. They have a heating unit built in, so you set the unit with what temperature you want the water to be and it keeps the water that temperature until you turn it off after everyone is done using it. But in hotels they usually just have hot and cold nobs and don't stay heated, so apparently Masaki doesn't know how to get the water to an approximate temperature that way.

My point was that with Riho and Haruka on board, now's the time for changing the rules, seniority be damned.

But why get rid of Reina and Sayumi? The new girls are good, but those two are fully-fleshed personalities. Sayu's on variety shows a lot and Reina's a super solid vocaliss, so losing them just seems like a bad decision until the 9kis and 10kis blossom more.

If I was in charge: new girls=clean slate, Riho=front girl. Morning Musume starts afresh. All traces of the old dispensed with.

But I'm not in charge, so this is all moot.

(Although I don't see how Sayu's appearances on variety shows have any relevance here.)

Sayumi's the only member with a regular TV presence. Other than Haruna, none of the other girls who would be good at variety/talk shows are old enough for it yet.

Because she's a well-known face for the group and those appearances can bring in the non-wota audience and big sales numbers.

THIS BITCH BE SERIOUS ?

It's over, AKB is finished.

It's funny how most of MM got back via the panda question. haha

@Soulless robot-eyes person; "lolicon" is a nice way to put it. lol

And again I want to roundhouse-kick Momoko in the face.

Those boyband dudes were surprisingly funny.

Just in case some people don't realize, those subs aren't accurate. Well, parts are, but the guy throws in a lot of stuff as jokes. Takamina doesn't actually call AKB "the most popular group here", things like that.

It made me laugh when Risa was like, "Bitch, I got panda merch too, ain't my fault you don't educate yourself at zooslike I do."

Of course, the epic Sayu offscreen push is epic.

Takamina is forever adorable but I really liked Mariko too.

And I love Momoka~

Hello! Project and AKB48 on one stage are more than I can process. When they said Takahashi would step up and judge the Jankenpon contest, I assumed it would be Ai-chan, but of course it was Takamina.

When I watched the video, it got broken up by commercials at the 5-minute mark and then again at the 10-minute mark. The first commercial was for Rite Aid Pharmacy (which has a branch in my neighborhood) and the second was for the Bing search engine.

Was everyone's video broken up by commercials? And were your commercials the same ones I saw or different?

That's the problem with the dailymotion videos, commercials at horrible parts in the video. No the commercials are different for everyone. Just like banner ads and youtube ads.
