I'm really surprised by how good she become compared to her time in ongaku gatas for example...



Even on her last single, all of the soloist H!P had are better than her...



The last thing I'll say is that the song really has an ending feeling to it, add the MV and it get's a nice feeling to it...



And one of the dancers fell at 1:17 and it was really funny in my opinion...

I thought it was a touching MV. Song isn't bad, but I've never been a fan of Mano so I'm just trying to be nice on her last single.

I like it. A short, repeating segment of it reminds me of Barbie Girl. The first time is at about 1:28 and all I can hear is "I can act like a star, I can beg on my knees."

For some reason this made me think of that musical number in the recent Muppets movie. The dance is interesting though.

Boring song. I think they could have done better considering it's her last H!P single but I didn't have my hopes up for it to happen. I wish they could have given her a song more like 'Onegai Dakara...' since it was a really good song but it is what it is.



As for the PV the male dancers were the best part. lol

I actually like the song. It fits her pretty well. I like the MV, too. Her voice has this weird vibrato to it sometimes (maybe that is the overlay effect?), and I can't figure out why it isn't "My next self," but, hey. At least her last few singles were pretty decent. Good for her and good for whomever is going to be the next soloist!

I realize this. I had the stupid hope that they would learn from "whatever it was Dear My Friends" and fix it, but noooooo. Ah, well. I do get a chuckle out of good ol' Engrish.

She's leaving more then likely to focus on her acting career. Let's face it, Mano isn't a singer and never will be a great singer. She is however a great little actress.



I think she did more theater, TV and Movie roles this year then all of H!P combined.

Anyway, I really like this song. She sounds a lot better than usual, which makes the whole thing even sadder. She's improving! But now probably won't make music ever again. The video was cute and a really nice farewell.

The H!P hipsters in 5 years will be championing her name as the soloist that should have been more than what she was. Because that's who she is. I didn't like her at first but she's definitely proved her worth and right as a solo idol, imo.

I feel kinda bad for hating on Mano so much, she has improved a lot vocally since I last really paid attention to her (her indie singles), maybe if she was given better material I would have liked her more. I can't even think of H!P getting a soloist to replace her no. She seemed like such a sweetheart, she was just so boring. :l

Funny, I thought talking wise she was really interesting, funny, witty and charming, but her singing and her songs in general were lacking more often than not.



Her awesome songs like Doki Doki were REALLY FUCKING AWESOME but it was the lame crap in between that lost her any undecided fans.

She is awesome in everything she does BUT singing. There were a couple of great, fun, upbeat songs, but anyone could have made them sound good, so it's even more of a waste the songs were given to her. Still, she's adorable, a decent actress, and she fills a bikini with the best of them.

Well, she is going to be in the Kamen Rider Wizard vs. Fourze movie next month, so that's something!

I can't explain it better, but maybe somebody else can ?

The MV, for the most part having ~10 "main dancers" in it doing stuff, trying to keep up a long-cut/no-cut video is pretty good. I fell in love with this kind of movie making at least since Children of Men (and here the even beter, although minorly cut-together, incomplete scene).

I've been watching too much MST3k and trash movies in general lately, I think...



Eventhough I've never cared for her in any of her songs ever, this MV is quite not-so-boring, and I don't think any other girl will follow her (as the major H!P solo act) anytime sone soon [this isn't the K-Pop area].

Haha, same feelings exactly. I'm sure I said this before, but whenever I see her, even in her more energetic songs, I feel I'm back in the early 90's. And I mean it in the good way. I can't explain it either, but she just does reminisce of that time with her aura. I am not the most versed in that period, but Chisato Moritaka, Megumi Hayashibara, Mari Iijima, or Wink with less disco come to my mind instantly when I listen to Mano.

I definitely don't get a Megumi vibe from Mano at all, but that is because she is my #1 OSHIMEN OF ALL TIME EVEN MORE THAN KAORI and I think mano is like a big boring sack of socks.



But like I said, this song ain't that bad. Just not my style is all!
