Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Yup, I have no reason to give a fuck about AKB48 anymore. Yuka and DiVA were pretty much the only reason I was still paying attention to the group. The songs are not as catchy as they once were. It really seems like way more is going into trying to making epic PVs, and the music is falling really far behind.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Sato Natsuki graduates from AKB48
I don't even know what to say right now. Loss of two great AKB48 girls in one week? My heart can't take this! She was woefully under-utilized in this group though so I'm not entirely surprised that she left. Plus she's in a great uni so she has to study a lot!
I'll miss seeing her in the entertainment industry though!

She was one of the original members, right? I can't blame her for wanting to give something else a shot after being in the bottom ranks for nearly 7 years.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
She was a 2nd gen and was only in 3 singles: Keibetsu Shiteita Aijou (best single ever, y/y), Romance Irane, and Chance no Junban.
She is an Ori-K member who was slightly pushed when she was put in ICE, but I guess the management doesn't like girls with nice voices. Makes me sick! <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... ryalot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':cryalot:' />

Ugh! There are gonna be no good voices left in AKB anymore. Admittedly, since they lipsync eeeeverything, it doesn't matter much, but still!

They don't lipsync everything but ok.
I'll still support them. I'll keep supporting them for as long as I can. Admittedly though my fave now is SKE48.

Come on now, save a few tv show performances, 90% of what we get from AKB is lipsynced, lol.
The only people left for me to give a crap about are Takamina, Miichan and Jurina. Ah well. This is how things go with idol groups.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Do they lipsync during their theater shows or is it live? I don't want to get into an argument, I'm just 100% curious about that.

This is a place where a signature goes. Enjoy some Airi instead.
Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
I've seen all the stages from 2010. The larger performances seemed live (I've never understood why they don't always do these live. They've got so many girls singing at once it won't make too much of a difference), but some of the smaller sub units didn't.
And I don't know if anyone cares, but NMB48 lost a research student. Sugimoto Kano. They say she's the 13th NMB member to withdraw this year but they must be including real members and research students.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Myself and a number of other people here have actually been to an AKB show live, and while some of the singing on certain songs IS actually live, a lot of it is lip-synch. Sometimes the entire song is done lip-synch, sometimes only certain members have their mics on, and other times (as is with H!P) they'll sometimes record new vocal tracks to lipsynch to live just so it doesn't sound exactly the same as the CD.
Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
That's the impression I got. What stage did you see live? Watching the more recent ones, I thought B5 was MUCH better than K6 or A6. A6 was terrible and boring.

The one I saw was A6 and it was probably half lipsynced half live. I really can forgive them though because they perform SO MUCH. If they sang live all the time we'd be looking at a lot of vocal injuries.
Also Itoshisa no Accel is AMAZING live. Takamina better get the best, best solo debut ever, considering she's one of the only ones who actually aspires to be a singer.
Also A6 IS GREAT! It's not boring at all! Itoshisa no Accel, Mokugekisha, SAAAABOTEN TO GORUDO RAASSSH, Enjou Rousen, SO MANY GOOD SONGS WAT.

I agree A6 is great. It was the first stage I watched and I didn't think it was boring.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
As an Ori-A fan, I have to disagree about A6 being "great". It has good songs, but it really lacks in power compared to the rest of their discography. Utsukushiki mono is my jam though, no lie. And I loved when Takamina AND Haachan sang Itoshisa no Accel!
And now I guess it's time for a ranking of the stages!
A4/A1 > A5 > A6 > A2 >>>>> A3
A3 has a few great songs, but a lot of stinkers unfortunately.
Other stages:
Team K-
K5 > K4 > K1 > K2 > K3 > K6
K6 is just......so boring. :(
Team B-
B3 > B2 > B1 > B5 > B4 (I don't even know this stage to be honest.)

My favourite stage will always be K2. ALWAYS. Blue Rose, Cinderella wa Damasarenai, Ame no Doubutsuen, Kinjirareta Futari, KOROGARU ISHI NI NARE, K2 IS THE BEST.
S2 comes second ever for me. :3 I've listened to Te wo Tsunaginagara so many times in it's entirety. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/wub.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
^ B4 is good! B Stars! B B B B B B B B B B B B B B BBBB! ITOSHIKI NATASHA, and all dat trumpet up in Idol no Yoake. :3
I have all the stages on CDs for work though and I find myself putting B4 on a fair bit lol.

Kasai Tomomi is graduating.
Her message doesn't really give any reason as to why, and the actual date is undecided.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Makes me think of what Aki-P said about AKB probably only lasting around 10 years or whatever. They're still selling like hot cakes, but with so many members leaving, it does look kind of bad (although Yuka had a scandal and wasn't very popular to begin with).
Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
People seem to think it's related to her ditching the 10000 yen challenge after only four days with zero explanation. She just stopped showing up and didn't tell anyone why. I heard about it, but apparently it was a much bigger deal than I thought.

There were also 2 more NMB members who left last week, so that's 3 within a span of 7 days.
I really don't think it has much of anything to do with the Yen Challenge thing, though it was kind of awkward, I don't think it would really matter to fans. Maybe a little embarrassing for her, but if it was that big of a deal, why would they go through all this mess of the Kasai project, giving her a ton of attention afterwards and spending a bunch of money to promote her instead of kicking her out?
Aki-P knows this business better than probably anyone else out there except for maybe Johnny of Johnny's, so I think the 10 year thing is pretty accurate. Its really starting to make some scarily similar parallels to what happened with Onyanko, except they didn't even last 3 years. If this turns out true, AKB has about 3 more years to go, if not before the breakup of the project entirely, before they become the next Morning Musume and fade into obscurity.
I'm really wondering if Japan is going to go through another down-period of idols after the collapse of AKB. None of the other groups out there are anywhere near their level of popularity, though they have fans, but they could all go back to completely obscurity and niche at any moment. The early 90s was a huge down-time for idols where most people were really kind of tired of seeing them and they didn't have much cultural relevance besides to wota.

Re: Club48 :: Where we spam 48 ways to glory!
Her dropping out of the challenge is consistent with her just getting no promotion even though she made it back into Senbatsu. They might not have wanted to promote someone who was so heavily criticized, by celebrities and viewers alike. Her hardcore fans didn't care, but a lot of casual viewers watch that show. Maybe the management didn't tell her to leave, but she realized that AKB48 really has nothing to offer her anymore.

I just...I can't with this fandom right now. The Team 4 girls get pushed like there's no tomorrow, but good 2nd gen members are leaving? I don't care if Yuka wasn't popular (or N Nacchi), they were the talent. With Chiyuu leaving it feels like the sex appeal is disappearing as well. Chiyuu has always been in my top 10 for AKB48 members and I am very very very sad to see her go. I don't think this had anything to do with the yen challenge because they probably would have let her go before this big event. No, I feel that she got over AKB48 and the lack of 'push' per say. She wasn't in senbatsu anymore and with this new solo gig maybe she figured that's the best way to go.
Regardless, I'll be supporting her as much as I can. Masaka is a great single with awesome b-sides and the PV is so cute.
Seeing Dakishimeraretara without her is so weird, it just doesn't feel right. N Nacchi + Kasai + Kuramochi forever!

Who are the two behind Takamina here?

Rumor Alert: Shunkan Bunshun (tabloid) may print another article about how her ex says she was dating more than one guy.Blah Blah
I am just starting to like her again, but if this is true she should be kicked. She won't though since she makes the $$$$.
SKE48 is releasing a new single called Choco no Dorei and here is the senbatsu:
Team S: Oya Masana, Kizaki Yuria, Suga Nanako, Suda Akari, Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Yagami Kumi
Team KII: Ishida Anna, Ogiso Shiori, Takayanagi Akane, Hata Sawako, Furukawa Airi, Mukaida Manatsu, Yakata Miki
Team E: Kimoto Kanon (LOLOL ONE E OKAY)
Team Undecided: Kitahara Rie
Soooo Yuka is out, Anna is in. Interesting I guess, but I love me some Yuka. I am pissed by the lack of E representation, what is wrong with Aki-P? Shibata Aya is completely senbatsu material and she's ignored :(. Team E gets no love.
A lot of people are bitching about Ishida Anna being in senbatsu, but I see nothing wrong with her. She is totally adorable and talented! Oh, and Yagami Kumi is still in senbatsu? That means she'll be in SKE48 a lot longer than I thought. Maybe a march graduation???
I wonder what kind of song this will be? I'm hoping for a darker song like Katafai.

YAY. Good senbatsu! I am with you with Yuka being out though, I love her too but Anna is GORGEOUS and is getting a push lately so it doesn't surprise me that she's there. It's actually good Rie is in too because by the look of previous AKB singles she might be getting a kick from senbatsu there so at least we get a bit of Rie in SKE.
Don't worry about E. Hopefully they'll start getting more members included soon.
I hope it's good. I really, really want it to be good. I want it to be better than Kiss Datte and Aishiteraburu. Which I both liked but they weren't remarkable.
OH MY GOD and that newspaper article.....SHUT YOUR MOUTH BOY RINO IS A STAR AND SHUT UP.

But really. Team E. :(

TEAM E DOESN'T EXIST.
