I wouldn't mind all those shots where they are just standing, but it would have been a million times better if they would have wore the outfits from the limited d,e,f, and regular a covers.

What are the two groups?

In one it's Zukki, Sakura, Haruka, Ayumi, Mizuki, and Reina. Then the other is Sayu, Haruna, Riho, Masaki, and Erina.

Look on the bright side, they'll perform an oldie AND a new song. Usually they never get to perform new material when invited to these types of shows. So think of it as a, we're still Morning Musume, but we're the new and improved dancing version.

Because we've heard it too many times. And (at least in my opinion) it was never THAT great of a song to begin with. It was fun and enjoyable enough, but definitely not something I'd want to listen to all the time.



What really bothers people though isn't so much the song itself. People tend to fall into two factions:



1.) People who are partial to the golden era girls and think the 6th (or even 5th) gen and forward have no business trying to recreate the magic

or

2.) People who are tired of the group having to constantly sing a song from 13 years ago and not being allowed to promote their own new material.



I don't think people would mind a mixup of old and new songs here and there, but unfortunately for the last several years whenever MM gets to make an appearance on a major music show, they always end up singing either Love Machine or RR21. If they even varied it up just a little bit and had them sing Koi no Dance Site or I WISH sometimes, people would probably be less annoyed.



But, as PQ said, at least this time they actually get to do their new song too. It would be nice to see that be a new trend.

Yeah, I love "Love Machine" but they have so many awesome older songs that never get performed.

Ok, I do have to agree that there are other older songs that could be performed.

Personally, I vote for "Morning Coffee" or "Daite Hold On Me".

I really did cringe at Riho's line following Sakura's singing! The contrast is even worse live!!

Sometimes Riho does better live than in recordings, I found... This is not one of those instances.

They pulled the dance off pretty well, for something that had to be edited over 9000 times for the dance shot, except when some parts are unintentionally hilarious.

1:07 may as well be a game of whack-a-mole. It may just be the camera angle, but I want to see that gif'd up with little mallets so badly.

After that, the whole rest of the performance became hilarious.
