Sakura's not live, but that's normal. I was kinda hoping that she would be live, though. I'm so curious to see how she will do.

Watching them sing Love Machine is like watching AKB cover H!P songs. There's no glimmer of old MM left in them whatsoever and it's weird. Not bad, just weird!

Mizuki is obviously so into what she does. It sounds cheesy, but it's really obvious that she loves MM. She killed in in Love Machine.

It's a shame that most of the post-Reina frontgirls are weak singers. Hopefully Sakura will stay strong and won't be forced into a squeaky voice (Reina, Aika, Linlin) and generation 12 will eventually yield some decent vocalists.

Wow. I'd never thought that I'd live to see the day where Sayumi is better singing live than an ace. Wooow Help Me was awful. Usually I think you guys are exaggerating, but nope, it was that bad. I don't get all the hate on Ayumi though. She doesn't even have a solo line, so I didn't notice her sounding bad more than anyone else. Even Mizuki sounded bad. What really made it extra painful though was having half of the girls sing live and half not. Volume was all over the place. And Riho... she looked like she was actually in pain on that last line. Tsunku, please stop giving her "special training" and just give her good training.

Ayumi was more 'loud' to me than anything else. She was mostly just yelling and the volume difference between her shared lines than the ones that came before them was jarring. I think she's got a nice voice, but lacks vocal control. She's a yeller. But I feel like that's something most of the younger girls get over. To be fair, it's not as if she's really had a whole lot of lines in the past year or so. If she was a serious lead, I'd find the way she sounds much more unacceptable.

I wasn't hating on her sound, but more that they could have instead had Masaki or someone sing. I'm assuming they're trying to improve Ayumi's live singing with having her sing though.



Also I agree.. Riho's last line it even looked painful for her.

I can honestly see why Masaki is getting a push. Girl was annoying at first but goddamn she's so endearing she's like my 4th fave now. Love her. She's so likeable, pretty, and sings and dances to a decent level. Can't really ask for much more.

Now if they'd only stop making Masaki do a cutesy voice and let her use her big-girl voice. I don't really know what else to call it, but you know she can do a non-cutesy voice. She and Sakura sounded really nice on whatever streaming show (was it a Ustream?) or some other video clip where they sang together a capella.

It's disappointing to hear how quiet the mic rips are for non-leads like Haruka. I don't know how they expect the supports to get better without giving them more experience, especially since they're probably not getting as many vocal lessons as the leads.

Wow dem mic rips. Sakura sounds fine, she reminds me of younger Risa at times. Reina sounds strained and Riho wow, she sounds horrible. Sayu even sounds better, her control is way way more advanced though obviously.
