DNW that hideous shapeless potato sack they put Maasa in. Wish she had a nice A-line dress like Chinami and Risako. Aside from that, everyone looks awesome, although the photoshopping on that first cover looks laughable.

I can't wait to hear Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai. I'm a huge fan of the original, so hopefully they don't do something awful to it.

•Saki's dress is really pretty.

•Momoko actually looks like a normal human being.

•Chinami is so pretty here.

•Maasa's outfit is ... no, just no.

•Miyabi's is even worse than Maasa's.

•Yurina looks amazing as always, but I would like to see a belt added to that dress to cinch that waist.

•Take that giant flower out of Risako's hair and replace it with a small, gold flower clip or something of the sort.

The 7th album was love from start to finish. (it also only had 3 single tracks)

Maki's 4th & final H!P album was 10 tracks, and just like Berryz case, there was an expected track that just never made it on.(Ima ni Kitto IN MY LIFE)



Anyway, according to online shops, even before the tracklist was finalized, they stated that we would only get 5 new songs on this album, so whether they pad the album with previously released tracks or not, the actual new material was not going to exceed those 5 tracks. I'm sure they'll be great.



Also, this is mostly to AEUG, but AKIRA is still doing the Anata Nashi De wa Ikite Yukenai arrangement, so at least we aren't getting some weirdass Okubo version. There's at least that bright side.

He basically did a full-on backup vocal though, that was a huge part of the song, regardless of who was singing the leads. There's also still a ton of AKIRA's voice in there, that's just how he arranges, with lush backup vocal tracks. It sounds good, though its just about the same, just a little less cute. I almost don't even see the point of this. They definitely have a little more control over their vocals and they're not QUITE as cute and chinsey, but SO similar. I think Miyabi actually sounds the most different of anyone.

It's probably more about the nostalgia, and looking back at how far they've come/ because C-ute did it and the fans probably expected at least some redone material from Berryz. They do sound fairly different but also it seems like the idea was to be really true to the original, they did this very delicately.



I had to relisten to the original, otherwise my memory would just allow the voices to blend. The obvious cute baby voice difference aside, the vocals in the original were REALLY ROUGH. This needed to be remade.



I swear that Yurina's "isshou anata no koto" line sounds identical to the 2004 version. I guess growing into a giant doesn't change your voice. All other solo lines sound much more mature.



They added sexy echo to the chiki-ah~ during the instrumental break,(basically right before the preview cuts off) maybe there are more surprises in the rest of the song. I'm waiting for the new and improved Miyabi's wo~~wo~woah~ line.

Rough compared to what? I don't think they're any worse than a LOT of what H!P does nowadays, they just throw autotune and bullshit on top of it now.
