HELP ME!!

No I can tell what's a good rip between a bad....the ones I download sound so muffled (it's not the vocals at all)...the music sounds hushed...like cottonballs....(i'm comparing this to the PV uploaded by the official MM channel and that sounds 10x better then what I've been finding)

I kind of like this short version of the song/dance. The talking part is the coolest sounding, but not the coolest looking, so I can see why they would skip it. Maybe one of these days they'll get to perform a full song or a medley of some of their recent ones on a show. We can hope, right?

It does sound infinitely better, but this one is definitely live, and if anything I would argue it sounds more live than the last one. I think they just got some better instruction and more practice with the song. We know Riho got extra training for her duet with Sakura, and it paid off, and Ayumi learned to not be so loud.

It's a shame that Sakura can't sing live and Riho can, especially when she sounds like -that-. Ouch.

I love vocal only versions. The anti-instrumental. haha. That second talking part, crazy!



There's a part where I don't know if it's Haruka or Sakura in the chorus. When listening to Happy Daisakusen, I noticed that Sakura's voice blends right into Haruka's. So they can have a similar sound.





Anyway, I reviewed and overplayed all the c/w songs.



My favorite's in order. Aishuu Romantic, Watashi no Dekkai Hana, Happy Daisakusen, Daisuki Dakara Zettai ni Yurusanai, and Nani wa Tomo Are!



Aishuu wins for giving me the ear worm. Teketekketeke~



Dekkai Hana, I love you idol rap! It's been so long since I've seen you in a H!P song.



Happy Daisakusen made me nostalgic for old H!P songs. It had an old quality from like the mid/late 2000 songs that Tsunku produced. At least in the chorus.



Riho/Sakura solo sounds bad now, but I know they'll eventually work it out together and it'll become amazing.



Nani wa Tomo Are was my least favorite. It sounds like Pyoco Pyoco Ultra.

Ayumi, you've finally learned not to shout. I liked Masaki in that one too (what little I could see her when the camera wasn't on Riho or one of the others). Those two are still fighting for my favorite once Reina's gone.



Ya know, I used to really like Riho, but damn, she's gotten terrible. Her voice wasn't always the best, but it was decent. Know, its just painful to listen to.

I think it's a better performance than the first but... it still sounds pretty bad. Even Reina sounds really strained. I wish they'd just do this either all live (maybe with a backing track for the effects) or all lip synced. It always sounds jarring when they have it half and half.

Yes <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... #>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':sad:' /> She actually sounded like she sounded pretty decent in Only you. But then they forced her into the spotlight and started giving her tons of lines that are way out of her league. I don't know what vocal lessons they're giving her, but they certainly don't have anything to do with how to sing properly.

She wasn't trying too hard to belt in Only You. I bet if they sang it now, she'd struggle with it much more than she did then.



But hey, at least she's consistent in her mediocrity. It'd just be a huge letdown if she wobbled back and forth between good and awful. I like going in knowing what to expect.

I think they're trying to keep her at a higher voice. I don't see why, though. Morning Musume ruins good decent singers. Maybe its a good thing that some of the fan favorites are in the back, so they aren't being pushed into an agonizing, high, squeaky voice.

This whole multiple B-side thing, it started regularly with S/mileage singles and their random covers of H!P past. Now, it has seriously grown to the point that we are basically getting a mini album every time MM puts out a single. Think about that. H!P fans are becoming spoiled to a point of no return.



The amount of new material in this single = the 9th studio album for Berryz. (kind of sad)



I wonder how much longer they'll keep this up and will they go any further when they actually release the next album. Maybe give everyone a solo track?

You can say anything you want about these girls and how untalented most of them are, but this is the strongest line-up the group has had in a very long time, maybe even since the golden age (for different reasons, of course). I know it's a bold statement, but everyone here is just so likable and is a fierce performer in her own right.
