I wasn't even born when it happened. Actually, I had never heard about Pokemon until I moved in with my grandparents when I was 6, so about 2005. But, I grew up watching the original pokemon, considering my brother owned a lot of the vhs. Saturday mornings were dedicated to sitting on the couch, watching Pokemon, which the original version was still being shown on some channels at that point.





Ps. When I talk about watching the original as a kid, I mean generation 1 in English, not the original Japanese. I had no interest in Japan until about a year or two later.

It was only about six months before I was born, so only a little more that thirteen years ago. My brother was only four.

Half way through season 2 of ST:TNG and I've decided Riker is a total creeper on Picard. Who stares at a man so intently like that if they weren't?



Oh and I miss Crusher. God, what were they thinking when they replaced her and then kept Wesley on? Made no sense to me.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, there's a competition show for make-up artists called Face Off that's been on the air here in the US for a few seasons! I've never watched it because they seem to showcase a lot of horror make-up, but I have seen pictures and it's insane how detailed they get.

So 30 Rock is over. It's kind of hard to believe. The season was a great one, especially after how mediocre last season was. And it was a fitting end, perhaps not their best episode, but there were many great moments and it felt like a proper ending. The Jenna/Tracy twins were a perfect touch.

I watch too much tv. Lately I was into American Horror Story. The first season got kind of cheesy but the second season was great and that series has some of the best performers on television.



Love love love HBO and Showtime original series, both new and old.



I'm so sad that Fringe is over.

I've watched American Horror story twice and I wasn't scared but just could not understand the storyline. I think I need to watch more. As for Adventure Time I know that series so inside and out that it frightens my friends. I was up one night thinking about the show and I made a few discoveries. Like if the ice king is currently 600 something and Marci is 1000s at the start of season one that means when they have the flashback in I Remeber You that even though she looked about 6-8 in the aftermath of the war she was actually a few hundred years old! Also, Finn was 12 at the start of season one and the creators say he's currently 14 so what happened to his mom and/or dad 14 years ago? We already know Susan Strong is human so Finn isn't the only human. Also Jake's parents took care of both Jake and Finn together. In a flashback Jake has about his mother there are paved roads, shops, modern transportation how far back was that? He's 28 in dog years at the start of season 1 according to the Little did you know feature on a DVD I have. Also this show is set very far into the future if The Ice King(Simon)was born in the mid 1800, Changed around 1850. Met Marci hundreds of years later and fast forward a few more hundred years and we get the current time line. I love Adventure Time!

So this is a spoiler for an episode a few weeks from now that I saw in promo stills, but some are speculating Toby will die, considering the girls are holding memorial pamphlets that look like they have Toby's face on them, and Spencer receives flowers with a banner that reads "Deepest Sympathies." What the hell? I'm hoping it's a misunderstanding, or that the girls are doing a mock funeral to try to help Spencer forget Toby. Let's be real, it's something they'd do.



It doesn't make sense to kill him off because him being on the A Team has provided some great plot devices. It would just cause more confusion, but I guess I wouldn't put it past the writers to do that.

I watched House of Cards when it premiered on Netflix a few weeks ago and I just fell in love. The next season can't come soon enough. Robin Wright is easily the most captivating character, but everyone is fascinating. It's intriguing and full of political deception and wonder.



It also got me to start watching The West Wing which I'm also enjoying, though after House of Cards, it feels like a sitcom than a serious political drama. Not to say it doesn't get serious (it does!), but it's like night and day. I'm on season 3 right now.



I also have been keeping up with Archer this season, buuuuuuuut I'm not impressed this year. I think it's worse than last year which was already starting to slip.



Talking about slipping, Futurama has completely jumped the shark since it came back. Last year's season went up on Netflix and it's so poorly-written. Futurama wasn't known for it's subtlety or tact, but damn if it wasn't written like the characters were humanoid beings. Now they're void of personality or boldness. And the voice actors aren't as good as they were either. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /frown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':frown:' />

I can't watch the new Futurama episodes. Reboots seem to struggle these days. I'm content with watching reruns of the originals.

I watch Pretty Little Liars but the girls kind of bug me. If they had shown everything to their parents at any point it would have been over for A. The longer they keep it all to themselves the more power the stalker has. They do pretty much everything wrong and we're still supposed to look at them like they are smart and mature beyond their years.



Men were secretly taping them changing clothes in their bedrooms, and passing the videos around to other guys to watch. And this happened when they were what, 15 or younger? Creepy is an understatement. It doesn't get much darker and more twisted than that but they basically just said "eww" and brushed it off and continued to worry more about who's dating whom. Yet still I watch it... I like their clothes and makeup. <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... stling.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':whistling:' />

Yeah, there are so many plot holes but I am completely hooked, and now that I told Ryan that we find out who "A" is at the end of the season we're watching he is so excited and wants to watch it every night too hahahaha.



This season is really good though, I dunno. Emotional wreck, every Tuesday.

I hate the gratuitous lovey-dovey scenes, but maybe that's because I'm not a 14-year-old. This show is one big hot mess but Spencer slays all with every episode lately.



I couldn't help myself tonight - I finally let myself watch last week's and then immediately had to hunt for tonight's episode instead of trying to draw it out. If it ends on any sort of cliffhanger I like to have that back-up episode, just in case. XD



That said, spoilery discussion regarding the A scene at the end of tonight's episode:

I'm going to assume those flowers AREN'T for Toby anymore? But then, who?

My assumption was Spencer because remember when they did the spin the bottle thing with the girls and what I am assuming was Toby purposefully moved it to Spencer? I took it as he thought she died in the steam room or they want it to be a threat. Anyway gah cannot wait for next week's episode. PS Ezra and Aria just need to break up already. Ugh.
