Group kicks ass though, you have the slightly older girls mixed with the kick ass-ness of the trainees, there is just one girl who seems a little inexperience, dancing isn't great and it sounded/looked like she was the only one not singing live.

Do people really think Juice are gonna be anything more than a group with S/mileage-esque popularity that gets about 20k per single? Eventually they won't be a new group and the hype will die down just like all the other groups.

I'm really liking this group and song.

It seems that for now, Karin and Aina are centers, Sayuki and Yuka are the sub/mid/after center, I forget what it's called, and Tomo and Akari are "shafted" but they all get lines :)

But after finally hearing this song on H!P Station, I really really like it and really really like them. I think the girl I kept noticing in the live performance was Karin and I liked her, so we'll see if she keeps capturing my attention to make a fan out of me. I really hope Tsunku uses this group as his whatever-I-feel-like music since they're new. His best stuff comes when he isn't pigeonholed into a supposed sound for a group IMO.

I think the line distribution could stay pretty much like this. It’s like S/mileage with four people (Karin-Aina-Sayuki-Tomoko/Kanon-Dawa-Akari-Meimei) getting the bulk of the lines, and two background girls (Rina-Kana/Akari-Yuka) who usually get one or two lines.

I think in every H!P group, there are the girls who usually never got solo lines, no matter what. The best that's been managed so far as trying to give everyone in an established group solo lines is the recent MM approach of everyone getting a syllable or word during a fast-paced dance portion of the song.



And I just realized from looking back in this thread that the girl sticking out to me was in fact Aina! Wow, she looks good these days.

In terms of raw singing talent, I honestly think Juice=Juice are the best group in H!P right now, even their weak link (Yuka) is good.



Akari, Tomoko, Aina, Sayuki and Karin are kicking ass and taking names in that performance.

Which OBVIOUSLY means they are the C-ute to S/mileage's Berryz. Which means, they'll get the crap songs and promo while S/mileage get everything and eventually work there way to the top, selling out concerts while S/mileage is stuck promoting kiddie anime's and Meimi goes and dyes her hair rainbow colors to show off her new bad girl image.



Is that how it's going to be?
