Click "Insert Media" and then on the left hand side of the window that comes up you should see "Insert Image from URL." Paste it in the bar at the top. I'm using Safari and that's how it looks, but I thought it was in the same as in Chrome on my work PC. I haven't uploaded images from a url before though so I could be remembering wrong.

@kaki - I've just been downloading them on my Mac, since I first tried to use "the insert image from URL" and it hotlinked;;; (I'm using Firefox.) So instead I made a folder specifically for the blog images and then delete them when I do my monthly-ish clean up.

The second line I think she is talking about how it can be difficult to know what to wear when you are "between" seasons or as she calls it the edge between seasons, so now is winter/spring edge

She is saying that these "clothes?" are perfect for those edge times.



Apparently this brand has a circular shaped store and she wants to go and see it

And whatever プレス　is... I'm assuming 社長？ in English the President of a company... PRESident... yeh... well she wants to meet him/her again and go out to "play"

I've been using プレス to mean PR people. She talks about "Press" people from different companies so I'm assuming she has meetings with these people about modeling or clothes or whatever.



Are dumplings a common thing to have on Hinamatsuri?



And what's a "Half body bath" That's what my kanji dictionary gave me too but it makes not sense to me, unless it's exactly what it sounds like and you just wash half your body...

You don't fully submerge your whole body into the water, you still wash before you get in the bath.

In case you aren't familiar, to clarify on what rob said - Japanese people don't actually wash in the bath, it's only used for soaking. The typical Japanese shower area looks something like this. The bath is filled and then covered like this. Then you shower in the tiled area of the room that's next to the tub. Once you're all clean, you soak in the bath.



What Koharu is talking about is usually written 半身浴 and refers to sitting in the bath with the water just up to your waist. Usually you make the water extra hot and soak until you start to sweat. People believe it's good for weight loss, skin care, or just health in general.

Hey, I've had a little trouble with this line from Risako. I went ahead and made some kind of translation, but people are asking about it, so I thought I'd ask if anyone can help with a little clarification too. ^^; It's a bit confusing to me.
