The good thing about bringing out older songs is that in past H!P concerts, old songs meant a group shuffle, which meant background girls got a chance to sing. At this point, Haruka, Zukki, Eripon, et al only get a chance to be heard when their b-side song (that almost always sucks, let's be real LOL the background girls keep getting stuck with the most generic genki songs ever) gets pulled out. Line distribution was A LOT less annoying even during the Takahashi era, because you still got to hear other members in concert.

Well, even the older songs that have showed up were turned into Reina/Riho/Sayu fests. They did Kimagure Princess, Resonant Blue, and I'm Lucky Girl (it's not super new but in the original every girl except Aika had a line) and it was all done with those three. Other than that, the other 9ki and 10ki girls only got lines in their subgroup songs. Kanon and Mizuki only got solos in OK YEAH because the girls they originally shared their lines with are gone now.

Oh, apparently she was only gone for PART of it. She started hearing ringing in her ears and went to get it checked out immediately and came back once it went away. She was back in time for Shabondama.

The other vocal girl's voice was so powerful, I kept putting that song on repeat.



I wonder if Reina feels her voice is being overpowered. She still sounded good, but it took her 10 years to get

That said, Reina completely missed both of today's concerts, so I'm gonna copy and paste some stuff from jplop:



Been announced Reina isn't taking part in the both concerts today (3/24).

- Apparently the first time Reina is absent from a MM concert.

- Okamari sang solo for the performances with Lovendor.

- Riho and Sayumi took most of Reina's parts.

- Long Creativity MC as they cut Reina's solo.

- Sayu solo MC talked about her and Reina.

- Fans are very impressed with how well Riho pulled off covering for Reina.



Reina's parts:

Only You → Sakura

What's Up Ai wa dou nano yo~ → Masaki

Wakuteka, Renai Hunter, One, Two, Three → Riho

Kare to issho ni omise ga shitai → Sayumi
