I don't think so. Quick, successive requests can return the same cumulative count, which suggests it's on a set interval and doesn't really increment because the button is pressed.

Yes I'm talking about Evangelion. Even the font they use for the song title reminds me of it. As well as the creepy vibe in general, the people in the lab coats and the machines they are using. But that's just me.
