Could I ask someone to just kind of check my translations for this post?

It's a slightly more important post than usual, and so I want it to be done right.

We're getting a lot of spam comments lately. I know we can just delete them, but is there a spam filter plug in or something we could use to prevent more of them?

There is a spam filter but I guess they're finding a way to get through it.

Well, I've updated the site to the newest Wordpress. The new update broke the homepage, but I fixed it so hope it looks OK now. And added an additional spam filter so I hope that helps a bit more.



What would you guys find most useful in communicating that your prepper has disappeared?

I think it would be good to PM them twice in 3 times in a 3 week span and if there's no response - we should move on. If someone is flaky like this all the time.. then I'm not sure. I guess we just have to make a call and question if they really have the time/motivation for this. Feel free to include me on these communications we can make a decision together.

Would you guys agree with this process?



I'd just like someway of knowing that your avenues have been exhausted and it's time for me to advertise their role.

I'd say one week but it may be too short. Alternatively, we can ask each prepper what is an appropriate time to decide whether or not he/she is actually gone.

マチソワ = I know it's a matinee + soiree, but what would that be called in English?

Should I refer to "midday performance" as "matinee" and "evening performance" as "soiree" or leave them as they are? (that is, "midday/evening performance")

I think it's okay to leave the title of the show in Japanese, since it's a title and that's how most people will refer to the play.

It's my first comedy in a while

so I've been laughing ever since the rehearsals started (lol)

As for マチソワ, I know for sure matinee is used in English to mean the same thing (midday performance), but I'm not sure if soiree is ever used in relation to theater in English. I always thought it referred to a fancy evening party. So maybe go with matinee and "evening performance" to be safe?

For future Sayu entries that you prep, would it be possible for you do the Gree/Ameba entries by date instead of a big chunk of Gree and then a chunk of Ameba? I know it's a pain, so if it's too difficult to do it that way, I understand. The only reason I ask is that what's happening is, when I go to translate the prepped entries in order, I'll get through a whole bunch of recent Gree ones and then the next set will be Ameba posts from two weeks ago. Because the categories are sorted by date of the original post, when people click on the Sayumi category they probably won't see all of those Ameba posts because they get sorted way back before the more recent Gree posts. Does that make sense? =/

I didn't mean to do them in giant chunks but it just kinda ended up happening that way. I just got really busy with finals and work the last couple weeks so I'd end up prepping some Gree blogs because they were easier and the Ameba posts just started piling up.

i just wanted to let you guys know that i would like to hand over prepping aika's blog to anyone who wanted to do it, so you can update the spread sheet and someone can have a chance to prep

I also ask her for help a lot if I run into trouble with a translation XD) who I've been trying to convince to join us at b!p <img src='http://mm-bbs.org/public/style_emoticon ... /laugh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':lol:' /> but has been kinda reluctant... However, she's now expressing interest in translating at least Lovendor's (non-Reina) blogs, as well as Asahi's (I think we'd need a new category for her?).



So FYI - she says she's created an account here and is awaiting approval, and that's why. :)
