I'm really into Moonsorrow lately. I bought the Fire Storm (Tulimyrsky) EP on iTunes for 4.99. The title track is 30 minutes and it's 69 minutes total...only 5 songs but not a bad price for that length!

I've seriously been listening to nothing but YOHIO's 「BREAK the BORDER」 this week. The second track is my favorite. My Murderous Urge is probably going to be my favorite song for a very long time. Well, its competing with track 6, Sakura, falling, which he wrote in colaboration with Gackt. I can't wait for the Japanese version of this album to release on the 24th (coincidentally the same day my uncle gets out of prison). I'm going to be seriously pissed if neither of these gets put on English iTunes. The only other thing of his on the English iTunes is his Japanese mini-album, so hopefully the Japanese version of the album will get put on the English iTunes.

I was just watching their Livescope 2010+ ~Welcome to the Parallel Universe!~ DVD last night, went to look something up about one of the tracks and there was the sad news.



I guess they have been around for a while now, Hirohito is 46 and Yuri is 36 (OK, she only looks about 20)

MEG has a new dual-single release coming out and using a web game, "MEG THE WORLD," to promote. It's a strange RPG where you can only go left or right (and you must be continuously holding the button) and MEG slowly turns into a zombie. One side is just a deserted town with signs and the other has the main story, but it's all in Japanese...



The release is going to be a single as MEG, a single as MEG ZOMBIES called "KISS OR BITE," and a limited dual single release. The background music in Stage 1 is an 8-bit version of KISS OR BITE. KISS OR BITE is being produced by electro-rock producer TeddyLoid with NARASAKI on guitar. Fun Fact: TeddyLoid is misspelled as Teddy Liod in the official post. The singles release 6/5.



There will also be special MEG THE WORLD TCG cards released at TOWER RECORDS, HMV, TSUTAYA, WonderGoo, 山野楽器, and Neo Wing plus on the KING eShop

As the Wiki article says, he recorded the theme song for the Long Vacation drama which was very popular some 10 years ago. Here's a youtube link. It's a fun slice of life drama with some pretty good music, not just the opening song. Some BBS members recorded a nice karaoke of it back in the day, but I don't think it's online. Berry has it in her archives somewhere so she could hook you up with it if you're interested.
