Alternate MVs for the two MVs. S/milege and C-ute are also doing this. I kinda feel bad for Tsunku, poor guy writes all their songs and now that half an album is considered a single now, he has to write 3 times the music. So I think this is a happy medium for UF to save Tsunku from a complete lyric meltdown.

Well, what if he already wrote so much unused music that they started this pattern of multiple b-sides just to get it released...

I know that someone like Tsunku has unimaginable amounts of unreleased tracks and song ideas.

H!P has a lot less acts than the old days. It probably balances out. Although, no telling how much non-H!P music is being made.
Well, his website would still list it, I guess.

Tsunku must sit there pumping out songs all day. That or he never sleeps.

Holy fucking shit, those covers are atrocious. I'd be embarrassed to walk up to a register and purchase any of those.

As far as there being a lot of songs, etc. I think its a combination of there being less groups, therefore less ways to output his music, but also partially maybe adapting to the times, since AKB usually releases between 5-8 different songs with each single since 2008 or so, so this may be a poor attempt at keeping up with that.

I wouldn't really call his songs that deep, so he probably doesn't need much time to come up with them.

Golden Chinatown MV at 26:54. Not up on the actual Berryz channel yet. It's also subbed. Sleeping on a diamond bed sounds uncomfortable. I'm just saying.

Swimming in a golden coin pond. A pond for gold coins or a pond filled with gold coins?

I actually really like this video. The outfits look much better in the video and everyone looks good in my opinion.
Oh, and I love the amount of Yuri in this one.

The song has a weird vibe to it but I like it. video is meh as usual, I'm tired of dancing in front ofnlights, "Heroine" was the only video that worked for.

They're singing about getting with Scrooge McDuck.

I am finally starting to like this song a bit. I'm just not in a Berryz mood right now, but I'm sure I'll get back into one eventually.

Maasa and Chinami do an interview for MTV. It's subtitled.

The song is pretty okay, I guess? But the lyrics and some of those shots in the MV really made me think 'brothel'.

The MTV thing was nice. Masaa wasn't the best though, imo. Hopefully they can pull in more foreign fans, which could be berryz' life line at this point- send koubou all over the world to convert new fans who eventually find the rest of the H!P treasure trove.

I do like the song, but I will have to be in Berryz mood to actually listen to it.

Also, wth were they wearing?! Ew.

I thought they kept singing about China, apparently not. The MV got REAL boring, REAL quick. I'm not looking forward to the other one if they are wearing those Kimi Sae reject outfits.

Did they reuse Morning Musume's One Two Three golden curtain as a fabric chandelier?

I agree that Captain is smoking hot in the PV... she's almost the one one/thing worth watching in the PV.
Who would have guessed the almost-uni-brow, boyish girl from 10 years ago would become this HOT!
I really like Risako, and I still do, but the duck face that she makes is too forced and nothing is sexy about it...

My comment on this PV: I have seen worse AKA Berryz past 5 singles...

I think I'm the only one that doesn't find Captain attractive.

I still hate the song but the video was pretty. Next song please.

Haha, yeah it's a verb ending, and they LOVE using this pun in Japan. Listen to Don't Mind Lai Lai Boy from the Ranma 1/2 soundtrack.

And I LOVE Captain...I think she has surpassed Chinami as my second favorite Berry for sure

For me, it's probably the contrast that makes me go wow for Captain.
Same thing goes to Chisato for me...
I agree next song, please

Wow, that was actually really nice. That's easily the best press interview H!P has gotten in quite a while. Way to go, girls.

Considering they label it as segment 1 makes me think they did these with all of Berryz.

Doesn't seem likely, they don't cover idols very often, its largely about other, more mainstream acts. They did a feature on Denpagumi.inc like 2 months ago, but most of the other content for the whole year was not idols.

The page says they're only having 2 segments, so I don't think they're going to cram the other 5 girls into the 2nd segment, I think it'll be more with just Chinami and Sudo.

I feel like all Berryz songs just sound the same lately...and they all have the same harmonies in the background. Chinatown reminds me of Asian Celebration too in the beginning. I think that's probably why i don't care about Berryz anymore...
