I absolutely love it. The part with the two younger girls playing is too cute.

I haven't been in to Babymetal when they first debuted but this has caught my attention 100%

Babymetal isn't disbanding, it was officially announced in April they're continuing even though Suu is graduated from SG...

Anyway, Megitsune is the first song from Babymetal I can't fucking stand. Its dumbed down as shit and terrible. Suu sounds amazing through the whole thing and the bridge/chorus is really good, but the rest of the song is literally unlistenable for me. There's like 6 chords in the entire song and the bro-core breakdown for the interlude makes me want to shoot myself in the face, its so bad. The imagery of the PV is pretty cool, but it doesn't make the song good.

I'm so happy. I don't follow them close enough to be up to date with news, but they're one of the most entertaining J-pop acts on the scene now. I remember reading that they were up for disbandment once Suu graduated so that was putting a damper on my excitement.

The song is much better than Ijime and the PV helps a lot, it has just the right amount of camp and awesome.

I am a huge fan of the (manzaI) duo DownTown (Gaki no tsukai, gottsu ee kanji, Hey x3 and many more) and while preparing for my presentation about them I had last week, I came across a song Hamada did in the mid 90s. It's really very 90s-ish, both the video and the song.

ugh I have been all about BABYMETAL recently. Of course I get into them right before they call it quits. But I had been under the impression it was just a hiatus...?

Also I am so wishing I had discovered Royksopp sooner. A friend of mine was playing their "Melody A.M." album on Skype and I was loving it so I got it for myself. Now I'm in that stage of "OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS ONE SONG LET ME DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY."

I couldn't find a dedicated thread (I thought I just put it in here), but Namie Amuro's new album "FEEL" is out now! Day one of sales came to 111,458, well trumping the next place album of ~60,000 and is a safe bet for this week's #1. The album has leaked online, but I'm waiting for my physical copy. Anyone heard it yet?

I listened to it. It had way more English than I was expecting. I liked the instrumental for Rainbow a lot. Didn't like Can You Feel This Love. Enjoyed Poison.

Namie said in an interview that, since many of the producers are foreign (like, Zedd produced <del>Heabun</del>Heaven), the original demos were in English. During the production process, there were a lot of instances where the translations wouldn't flow and harmonize as well as the English. Would explain the same deal for Uncontrolled where the Tavro Twins produced two of the new songs and English versions of Oh Yeah/Go Round and a German producer did Only You.
