Yes please. It was all right when Kyary did it the first time, maybe even the second time, but after that even she lost the spark and anything new from her makes me want to gouge my eyes, not to say anything about imitators.
 
It's interesting to see LinLin though. I never really saw her outside of MM context and the change is so much more radical than other OGs. She seems to be enjoying it, so go girl.

I'm happy she's DOING something. I'm happy it's not standard, boring, or devoid of her own personal wackiness and geekery. I'm even happy she still goes by Linlin. I love the pink outfit.
 
I'm not happy about the song. I hate the blue wig costume. I hate the way she sings this. She could be doing way better with that voice of hers. It doesn't feel original at all, as stated before.

Which begs the question: is the rest of the album like this or are there different types of songs on it?

She must be doing something right, because I totally had this in my head when I went to bed last night.  I'll say what I said on H!O....it's cute, the video is awesome, and I can accept this if this isn't what her entire album is going to be like.   Also, love the random Spiderman.  But I want more stuff like the song she wrote with Ai.
 
She does look gorgeous though.

This one is kind of a given, that's what forums like this are for.

Seriously, I was going to post the same thing as both of you guys. She's like a less fucking obnoxious, non-hipster version of Kyary. I'm not the biggest fan of the visuals in this video, but its interesting at least.

I think the song is pretty cool, but the vocals are a little too high in the mix and come off kinda jarring, but still cool to listen to. Unlike that new S/mileage single, which has a somewhat more upbeat but similar arrangement and the worst vocals in recorded history.

I hated the princess outfit just because there's too much... brightness going on with those super dark lashes. It makes her look really creepy IMO, but I did love the blue wig and how she was styled in that.
 
I really don't mind the song; there are way worse wastes of album space called "children's songs."

This is really strange, but LinLin's wacky personality sort of makes this work. As for other OGs who had a radical change, I don't think anyone saw HANGRY & ANGRY coming either.

Right? Who really needs Spiderman in their video unless they want to catch the attention of random people who have no idea what is going on, but will share this video with all of their friends.
 
I just hope they let her use her real voice in most of her releases. I mean, I could see Sayumi getting a solo career like this. It's basically what she gets already on albums and B-sides. However, It would be a shame for LinLin to be hidden by vocal effects.

The song seems to be about teenage girl-ish problems largely epitomized by the focus on pimples (which is referred to in Mandarin as 'beans') and how girls should battle it away. 
 
The gist of it is kinda like a rallying call for girls to become a perfect girl to capture the prince of their dreams. Not so much the little prince, even though there is an allusion to it. The prince that the song refers to is closer to the Shojo anime idea of a 'Prince/ good looking male'. 
 
I don't think its a 'kid's song'. Probably just a pop teen/ cutesy pop idol song. Kinda reminds me of the whole Spice Girls girl power bit. 

That aside, I thought the song is pretty catchy.

You didn't need to delete your post, and don't double post either.  That being said, you're wrong.  The "b p m f d t n l" is a phonetic thing children learn when they learn Mandarin, and the "big bad wolf" is actually "Wolffy" a character from a children's TV show.  There are also five other references to children's media, including the Prince.  I can't decide on an emoticon to correctly convey my tone of voice, so I'm going to use this one.
