I'm seeing her in July! 'Life Pathfinder' with a few ex-SDN48 girls! It's going to be so great. 
I'd actually really like to see Marina Kuroki participate. Her solo career needs a boost. Her first solo single was AMAZING and I want her to get another one.

Who else is active in the theatre or music world? I know Kenji Urai will be in a play in July. But otherwise, I don't know who else is active.

Yuu Shirota is still quite active. I think Rei Saito is still pretty active too, but I haven't seen her around terribly recently... I'm sure there are others but I don't know them off the top of my head.

Anza is still active with Head Phones President. Kakieuchi Ayami (Black Lady Saturn) is a model in soup, Watanabe Mai retired a year or two ago. That's those I remember.

Akiko Miyazawa is still performing, Manami Wakayama appears on the odd talent show here and there and has done a few PBs and DVDs, Marina released a solo single last year that was really good but I haven't heard anything from her since, Fumina is in a drama coming out soon that I can't remember the name, she's still in TV fairly regularly. Chieko Ochi (Kawabe) is opening a pancake cafe in Nagoya (omg I want to go) and also writes cookbooks and appears on TV sometimes (she's so cute with her little family omfg). Yuhka Asami has recently gotten back into theatre but she looks pretty rough, and I saw a few pics of her with children so I assume they are hers. 
 
Speaking of Ayami Kakiuchi, she's actually friends with Mario Tomioka which is just so awesome. Saturns together.

About this whole Sailor Moon Reboot thing? I was cautiously excited until we recently re-watched the fantastic first 3 seasons of Slayers and then proceeded to watch those 2 new seasons (Revolution and Evolution-R) for the first time. Which turned out to be utter shite. It was Sailor Moon that got me into anime and consequently everything Japanese nearly 20 years ago and with the current state of anime I fear a remake or reboot just can't live up to the original. Or to the fond memory of it, because I share Berry's worry how the series would really rank in this day and age.

I never had any interest at all in figures but that Mercury figure gave me a little itch. Ami was my first waifu long before the waifu concept was even invented in Azumanga in 2002 or so. But if I had to pick one then I'd probably wait for Saturn who was the best and ultimate Senshi.

(that last paragraph probably belongs more in the tmi thread than anywhere else)

I've always hated Eternal's costume, but it looks better in the manga. Weirdly enough, I think Super looks worse in manga form, better with the solid stripes of color from the anime.

Any creative BBS people feeling generous and want to make me a cool new BBS signature with the new Myu cast? :( since my server is a bitch and ate the beautiful one miss moonlight made before.

I really hope the new cast can sing, because visually everything is PERFECT. Since they're using so many Takarazuka performers I'm inclined to believe a lot of focus was put on talent in addition to looks during the casting. 


The official website also has a (not yet up) section for goods, so I hope some cool stuff comes out :O
