First MM's A-side is apparently disco and now their dance isn't hip hop... though to be fair the rest of the dance could be, we haven't seen it yet.

I do wonder if anyone over at H!P knows the difference between genres though

I think it's more a case that in Japan hip-hop is an extremely broad term which literally means anything with a beat that isn't rock or classical.

Wow, they fucked with a perfectly perfect thing and somehow I don't hate it. Tsunku must be reaching new heights with his mixing or whatever is going on there. Memorial Edit just sounds like some eulogy to dead Aina though, which is weird. The name just makes it sound like it's supposed to be FOR Aina instead of moving on without her. Maybe with Tsunku's thinking, that's the point, though I'm missing it entirely...

I actually really like this.  I didn't at first because it was so different from their other songs BUT it's got an oldschool H!P feel to it which is always a winner in my books. <3

I really love this old school sound. This was the H!P I fell in love with so many years ago. I hope they continue with this sound for their future releases. I'm really looking forward to the single release and will preorder the regular edition soon.

I felt like I was listening to T&C Bomber when it started.
I kinda hoped Juice=Juice was more dance-centric but if Tsunku is wanting an old style I can definitely get into that.

Yeh because there are loads of examples of western songs that use Japanese well....
 
It's Japan, they use extremely weird English in their songs, in fact the English in this song is actually really rather good, it's grammatically correct for one.
