Ai no Morning Musume's 54th Single Thread!

I really love both songs and all girls are beautiful outfits are pretty and MVs are very good too ! But the covers...  I'll wait for bigger photos but now, in my opinion, only the regular B and limited C seem to be good ^^' (and Maachan is definitely more cute with her right side fringe (sorry, English isn't my native langage and I don't know how to properly say my idea, I hope you'll understand nevertheless ^^') )
 
(and I read someone who said that they seem to be in France, I absolutely didn't think about that (even I'm French) but it make me laugh ^^)

Now that I've had a chance to listen to "Joke" for a couple of days, I can firmly say that I like "Gundam" much more. As for the video, I don't mind the referee dresses that much, and the black outfits are awesome.

If the b-side turns out alright, Reg B's cover looks like it might be decent enough to warrant a purchase.

The more I watch Gundan, the more I find Sakura amazing. I am not THAT much of a fan of her voice, but her facial expression  and manners are on a whole different level from the other common HP girls, who can only play cute or widen their eyes and make f***** pouting face which I am sick of. Yes I am not her fan, but she definitely gains my respect. She will surpass Takahashi without doubt.

She actually reminds me a bit (sometimes a lot) of Takahashi. 
 
Not only cause she got the best voice in the group, but because she doesn't look as striking as some of the other girls... and yet you know she'll grow up into a beautiful woman. (L)
About the mannerism, I think she's just natural whether the other girls simply try too hard. :/

Just pre-ordered Lim C. I think it's best one to order because it comes the different version of each PV, which hopefully means more of the separate grouping scenes, black for Wagamama, and White for Gundan, plus the making of.

The Reg B cover reminds me of AKB's Iiwake Maybe...It's probably the best cover too imo haha

In Ai no Gundan it bothers me that on the line where Sayu, Masaki, and Sakura are singing at <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... >3:2</a><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... =205">5</a>, you can only hear Sayu.

Me too. If you hear Ai's solo line(s?) in "Popcorn Love", Mr. Moonlight's b-side, you'll hear that she sounds pretty weak. Sakura already sounds pretty good, so she can only get better! If Ai went from weak to very strong, Sakura is definitely going to blow her outta the water.

I like the regular edition covers a lot more than the limited ones. I wish they'd used the other two outfits (the black and the white) as well for covers.
 
I'm surprised they didn't think about making one of the covers something like this...(sorry for the horrid quality of the photo)

Also, another thing about Wagamama that surprised me is the fact that Sakura doesn't do any of the "AISARETAIIIIIIIII" lines.

I always thought Takahashi started out strong, got really strong after a couple of years, plateaued for a few more years, then slowly regressed for the rest of her time in the group. She was never a very polished singer, and she mostly relied on her strong voice and ability to sing in key, but much like her personality her delivery was rather boring. "Competent" is a word I would use to describe Takahashi as a singer, but "compelling" is not.
 
Other than Sayumi, I have no idea what any of the current members of MM sound like as I just don't follow that closely any more, but if Sakura has the basic tools -- strength and the ability to hit and hold a note -- she could definitely best Takahashi based on the fact that the chances of her singing with less personality than Takahashi are rather slim.

The 'aisaretai' parts in Wagamama are cool, except my mom and brother realized it sounds just like they 'I saw it die'

You can get a lot of the older singles for cheap on Ebay. Unless it's a new one, there's usually someone selling it for about four bucks or so.

Just a question : the page's look isn't like usual (for me) and it isn't written if you have a first press bonus or not if you pre-order. I already have pre-ordered by CD Japan and received first press bonus but it was written, next to the photo. So I wonder if this time there's one or not
