I caught a bit of the concert version earlier, but now that I hear it in full I quite like it. Kind of weird not hearing Aina though.

Wow I am pleasantly surprised!

I will admit my JJ excitement has declined a bit since Aina's departure so I was not excited like I was for MM's new stuff...


But Wow! Three outfits? Although I don't see much the point in the last one, but they made good use of a single background by using different colors and it works.


Some of the song reminds me of Berryz though, like the part before the chorus is very Seishin Bus Guide. And those "Ahhh"'s in the chorus too.

Yeah, I liked it too. It was classy and pretty! Plus the translation didn't seem to be too crappy this time around.

The three outfits definitely surprised me, but I honestly hated those "punkster" type outfits, they did not fit it at all to me. It's like, you go from somewhat elegant-ish outfits to that. No.
 
I like the song, too, but Watashi ga and Samidare are still better than this, to me anyway.

This was my first time hearing the song in full and I actually really like it! It has a nice old school sound.
 
The MV was also really nice! I'm shocked that there's three outfits. I guess they're going all out with this.

I like the song more than when I heard the concert rip, though I'm generally fairly easy to please with H!P songs. Still kind of sad that they don't have a new bside for this single though...
 
The MV was pretty good, I got through the entire thing without getting bored, so that's a good thing.

Too much Karin. She doesn't fit cool songs, her voice is too thin. Tomoko looks stunning. I need more Sayuki. I wish Aina is still in J-J, I miss the balance of the group during their indies.

I do really like this song.  Sayuki is killing it on those vocals.  The third outfits seemed really out of place though.  And I'm sorry, Yuka just sticks out to me like a sore thumb in dances, it drives me crazy.

Sayuki was killing it, I agree, but there's only one of them that completely didn't stand out: Yuka. I just finished watching it, and I can't recall ever seeing her singing, or noticing her dance (although I did notice her dress). And I can remember only one close up of her...

I love this song. And the MV is wonderful. I like the third outfits but they do seem out of place.

I like it better with the MV, but Karin wasn't the best, and it seems like she is going to be single lead from now on. But the other girls sounded good.

Yay, JJ remains perfect! The song is way too long considering how repetitive it is, but if JJ's theme is all about taking initiative and not being the passive Nadeshiko, I will be all over them like white on rice that doesn't happen to be brown. I didn't realize how much the idol scene needed a breath of fresh air in that respect.
 
Oh and by god if I didn't think Karin in her last outfit was Airi at first. I really hope she's not the next Airi. I just love when groups are so fresh and everyone still gets lines. Look at how even the line distribution is! I can't even get tired of anybody because there are no Reina-Ais to hate! Yet anyway.

But I do hope that JJ's theme is not to be a passive-girl-song group. From the lyrics of the first two singles, it's seem like they stand for a more stronger type image. Even in Momusu's 3, 2, 1 BREAKIN' OUT, which is a stronger-type song, they say every girl's dream should be to be a bride (which contradicts the whole point of the song, really).
 
I'm not even a girl, but I like hearing them sing songs about girls doing something about their feelings and not being all "I wish I could do something, but I'm so weak"-type crap.
 
That's why JJ is so awesome.
 
I also hope Karin doesn't become the next Airi, too. She's nice, but we already have 3 groups where 2-3 people dominate lines, we don't need another one. JJ seems to be pretty unique, so my fingers are crossed.

MV is surprisingly nice. Karin, Tomoko, and Sayuki all sound great. I don't mind Karin getting a little more than the other two, as long as they also get plenty of lines. And they do, so ... yeah. Good stuff. I don't think the line distribution will change too much. Tsunku loves Sayuki and the wotas love Tomoko, so their spots seem secure. I don't think we have to worry about a Shock! happening or anything like that.
