Nooooooooo! I don't wanna hear all these Updated songs...
It was inevitable, but I was super hoping it was a throwaway album to be forgotten forever...
 
But I'm super glad they're starting to perform other old songs again like - SONGS, Sexy Boy, Nanchatte Renai, Take off is now, Shougana yume oibito.
I don't care what people say, but Platinum 9 sans Koharu is my favorite era..

Sakura getting Ai's part in Shouganai is pure awsomeness. Take off is meh, because Riho's can't handle the part well that much, and Sakura/Ayu can't blend that well too.

Actually, what destroyed Reina was the change from her natural "yankee" self and voice to cute Reina who tried too hard.
 
And yay, no typo! I honestly couldn't believe that they would shaft just Kanon.

I don't know, I never got the impression Reina was trying too hard. She was only 13 when she joined, so of course she was going to change. As for the singing thing, I think she was just given very bad advice, especially since I think the way a lot of the newer girls sing is similar to how she does. They usually just sing the songs the way they're told to. Or they try out new ways to sing and no one really corrects them if it's a bad idea.

After so many years of ruining her natural voice, Reina can still sing well (though sometimes her voice may be not very pleasant). Her voice hardly trembles. Listen to Takahashi. Her voice has really deteriorated after she graduated.

Takahashi had to have surgery, though, remember. And I agree, Reina is still a very capable singer. It just sucks knowing she could have been much better than she is.

I know, but I thought it was just a small surgery (which wasn't supposed to affect her vocal). Anyway, I feel REALLY bad for her to have to sing with her voice like that. She should have rested some more. I have always wanted a Takahashi-Reina band, their voice complements each other: reina's voice is too sharp, but Tahakashi's is full and smooth. Takahashi's voice is at times bland and manly, but Reina's is pretty and unique.

I think I'm kinda late to the setlist, but I'm liking it and I am here for the medleys. I'm kinda relieved that aside from the updated songs, it's not all recent singles and their b-sides galore like the past concerts. I know they have to promote the updated songs, but wouldn't it be interesting if they threw in the classic songs to replace some of the new versions in some setlists?
