After she left H!P and went back to China, she lost quite some weight.

There's more then just weight loss in those pictures. I think she got the eye lid surgery as well.

Yeah I noticed that too. But I think the hair is what really made her seem less like Junjun to me. I love those bangs on her, they look great!

She posted this picture a couple of weeks ago of her scale with the question of if her scale had gone bad, so I'm not sure if that means she thinks she weighs more than that or less, but for 5' 6", ~102 lbs isn't very much.

Good grief, that's tiny. She doesn't look bad in the photos though, so I can only imagine she must have a small frame or something.


5'4" at 110 lbs is when doctors kept telling me I was underweight, and I was pretty damn skinny, so I'm kind of lost on this one...

I think I may know the area she lives in from that picture, though it looks photo shopped... I don't know if her husband still does surf contests (I would imagine so), but there's been a ton lately in her hometown. My husband and I were up there yesterday and waves were huge! Still have yet to go to a surf contest, though.

There's definitely some weight loss though I'm not sure about eye lid surgery because her eye makeup is so uneven that's it's difficult to tell.
 
Mikitty isn't that keen on MoMusu's name change. She'd like Tsunku to exercise caution.

According to the recent UF LICKS, Asahi will stop solo activities and she's going to team up with someone (says it'll be announced who that person is on the next episode).  Also they will appear at the H!P Countdown together.
 
I wonder who she'll choose and if she chooses Aika, might mean Asahi will join H!P?

Good heavens no, they may as well dump her in the Tokyo Bay with an anchor tied to her neck instead.

Looking at the H!P Countdown guest list, it would be interesting to see her team up with Kikka - IF and only if the girls could get a real chemistry going on between them. As in a manzai act or something. Otherwise, Mano I suppose (though Asahi destroys Mano in piano skills, so I don't know how that would work out).

But seriously she does not need a partner, she needs a proper promotion and to be pushed as a singer/songwriter kind of a person rather than an idol.

Man seems to be knee deep in the acting pool and to be honest, between her and Aika, I'd pick Aika. Kills can stay by herself, I'm cool with that. They have two different styles. I think Aika would work well with Asahi.

Asahi's new partner is a girl named Hasegawa Moemi. She's 19 and from Niigata. She was a winner in the third Forest auditions (Asahi was a winner in the second). She was also a Grand Prix winner like Asahi.




The UF Licks episode showed both their auditions but I can't post it right now. But it looks like Asahi's partner is basically another Asahi.
 
Edit: And now I can post the video. Moemi is introduced at about 25:30. They show some footage of her at the audition (but nothing of her singing) and they show a bit of Asahi's as well.
 
Also there's some Kei solos at the beginning for anyone who is interested in watching those. Pittari Shitari X'Mas and I WISH.

Japanese baseball pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, Satoda Mai's husband, will be posted by his Japanese team to come play in America.  Besides seeing how the Dodgers go about this, I'm interested to see if Mai comes with him to the US.
