12th Auditions Winners Announced! "Golden Audition"

For the record it isn't actually that easy to become a Japanese citizen even if you are born in Japan.  There's this huge problem particularly with Koreans who were born in Japan being denied citizenship.   I remember going to the immigration office to get my reentry permit before winter break and it was like 90% Koreans.
 
That being said....RIKAKO FOR 12TH GEN.

The fact that they won't be in a single till 2015, is the same as 10th and 11th gen, they announce it in the fall and then they're in the January single and the winter concert. They will be announced in the fall too.

Also don't forget 6th gen got announced in like January and didn't appear in a single until like July or something.

I want some of the 20th Generation members to get in. Such as Yamaki Risa, Oura Hirona, and Funaki Musubu. I also want Kaga Kaede, along with some of the older eggs, such as Tanabe Nanami, Yoshihashi Kurumi, etc.
 
As for foreigners, I want Lisa Michelle the YouTube cover singer to make it in.

The only kenshuusei I'm gunning for are Rikako and Hirona, who are both my ultimate kenshuusei oshi~
 
I'd really like to see some somewhat older girls to add more of a dynamic with the rest, but at this point, the ages (sans Sayu) are not so drastically different that adding someone who is like 17 will make much a difference in the group. Even someone who is like 12 or 13 wouldn't stand out that badly because of Maa-chan, Kuduu and Sakura.
 
I'd like at least one person with a really REALLY funny personality and one who is a stuck-up, vain, poisoned-tongue type like Sayu, because is there really anyone poised to take that character in this lineup? (Maybe Eripon with her talks of being the #1 idol, but that's not so much narcisstic.)

I want somebody who could steal the center position from Riho. Not all the time, just some of the time. I like Riho, and I think she's awesome despite her flaws, but I'd like a little variety. So I'd say I just want somebody who is the complete package (can sing, can dance, has good stage presence, and is appealing to the fans). Funaki seems like she fits the bill.

As for Eggs, I want Kaede and Manaka for MM.
I would be really happy too if Ruru, Tanabe or Musuku pass the audition. But, somehow, I also want a new face

I'm not big on Manaka but I really like Kaede. I like most of the finalists from the last 12th gen audition too.

I want Tanabe Nanami to make it. And some non Kenshuusei member. Its too early to know for sure but this audition though seems like 2-3nin possibility.

Is it wrong of me to want at least one foreign girl? There should be an egg though. They shouldn't have to wait a ridiculously long time to debut or put in all that work and never debut.


I'm not surprised by the announcement in the least. I'll be surprised when H!P gets another soloist or new group( duo please!)


I want another older girl to join(16) someone in the middle(12). Just one good singer and one who is super creative or good at speaking who can fill Sayu's place when she leaves. I hope this audition means more new members.

I think there will be at least one egg for sure. They've been using eggs for the last 3 MM gen., for S/mileage and for J=J
It would be weird if they don't add one this time, specially if you look at some of the eggs' dance-vocal skills

I also want something like that, but if they're going to use someone to replace Sayu when it comes to talking, it'll be some 9ki or 10ki member
I don't think they'll use a novice to fill Sayu's shoes

I would love for Momusu to add a Zainichi Korean member just because the wota would literally die. That's really pretty much all I have to offer for these auditions. I would love to get another really great singer but even if we get one, I feel like they won't be used. Another great personality would be fun, but we hardly get to see the girls interact so it would be almost wasted.  Another good dancer would be fine but mostly pointless.

Also, Kenshusei are where it's at.  I want one egg and one unknown.  Both should be difference makers, if not right now, in the future.

Okay so I wasn't "seriously" following MM in any past audtitions-- How long does the process usually take? With it being in round two, about how many girls is it down to? (If you had to estimate). Thanks to whoever answers. I want to be a part and follow this as much as I can, although it's pretty secretive XD

Heading into round three I think its about 50 girls? I forgot.


They won't actively participate until next year, though.

And the 2nd Round is usually around 2,000 girls I think. We should be seeing footage from the finals anywhere from September-November. Depending on what day of the tour they announce them. Usually it's around the end, so I would guess late October~early November.

Yeah, they'll probably announce them at the end like with Takahashi's graduation or during one of those Budokan dates in the middle of the tour.

With this and the country musume audition now running side by side, it will be interesting to see which one they will announce first. Or perhaps, announce them together? I imagine a few eggs will be picked so having them all together and announcing who got put into which group would be nice instead of letting some of the girls suffer till the start of the Musume concert.

If they do it at a concert venue (as opposed to Hello! Station or something) they'll probably announce Country at the H!P Winter Concert.
