Sorry for not replying to this sooner, I couldn't figure out what was causing it. I'm still not quite sure, but after the issue reproduced itself on both Berry's and my computer the solution was simpler than expected - just clear the browsing history for blog-project.net. I'm surprised it wasn't related to the site cookies instead, but it worked.


Oh, and thanks guys for translating the Kamei post by Miki. I was sad that no one seemed to jump on the initial prepping offer, but I didn't want to push anyone to do it. But it was an important Turtle sighting that deserved to be translated.

You can stop prepping for a while  I'm just going to need to set aside a day or two to dig through all of Kana's posts because she's a beast.

You can stop prepping for a while  I'm just going to need to set aside a day or two to dig through all of Kana's posts because she's a beast.

I actually stop prepping when I post that message. I can limit my prepping to one per day (I recall there was a day that she posted 5 entries, though, they were short) or you can tell me which should be prepped.

My attempt: During this period, I savoured the feeling of achievement of attaining 'nice to meet you' increasing by 10 people! that I had decided within myself!

I think that you correctly deconstructed the grammar structure of the sentence.
 
About 初めましての方(を)10人増やす
 
「初めまして」 ⇒ what you say to somebody you meet for the first time, for example "nice to meet you"
「方」 ⇒ a more formal word for 人
 
初めましての方 ⇒ lit. "person to whom 'nice to meet you' applies"
i.e. somebody new to you, your group or activity
 
Examples (from the first 5 hits on Google):
「初めましての人に会うのってちょっと緊張しますよね。」
「初めましての人もお久しぶりの人もいると思います。」
 
The question is, what kind of people has she added to her roster? 10 new personal friends, 10 new business connections, 10 new handshake session regulars, something else? Because I do not follow her blog, I do not know the context. If I had to make a decision, I'd settle for something neutral like "new acquaintances":

I'm currently translating Ikuta Erina's blogposts on my facebook page.

Since I like reading them I'm likely to keep translating them and posting them on my page about Eripon.

I'm totally not a pro in Japanese actually, so I'm just doing it by translating to romaji and searching up stuff, and weirdly enough it works well.

At least it does for Ikuta's posts since they're very simple and easy to understand, I noticed that when for a change I wanted to translate Mizuki's post.

Anyways, I'd like to help even if it's just for small things.

I'm really sorry about the short notice, but I think I'm going to be dropping Iikubo. I've had a lot of issues at home lending to very little opportunity or motivation to translate over the past few weeks, and while I have more time now to try and catch back up, Iikubo's isn't really working out for me. I've been trying to go through all of the backlog and translate the past entries I missed, but I'm not making much progress with hers. It looks like eri has been translating her more recent entries, though, so I don't think it will be too much of a blow to drop her now. Again, I'm really sorry about this. I'll still be chugging away at Kanon, Dawa, and Sayumi, though.

Sayumi + Iikubo is a deadly combo. I think eri is covering some Iikubo's posts. I will still keep prepping hers until eri is overwhelmed.

If you can, please do. I actually really enjoy translating Nyon so I have no problems doing 5-10 per day whenever I can sit down to do it.
 
 
Iikubo's entries are just too dense. A solid 1/3 of Sayumi's and Nyon's posts are really short and easy so it's not as taxing, but I feel drained after about one and a half of Iikubo's. I'll leave it up to eri to delete the backlog or not.
 
I haven't started too much on Dawa, but Sayumi hasn't really been prepped in a hot minute. I don't know if it's because MisaChii noticed I wasn't as active or if she's having issues in prepping (but if you're reading this and are able to then please feel free to prep more).
