Don't they have any idea what those words mean? Or will they literally just put any English saying on their body?

Most people don't know how to say "whore" in a language they're not fluent in, plus I don't think that word gets thrown around as much in Japanese culture as it does in American.  But consider how many shirts (especially for males) in the U.S. have Chinese characters on them.

Yes and yes.

This could be the first time in b!p's history that an individual post has more views than the front page (more than double now actually). Now if even 0.5% of those readers applied as translators then we'd be golden...

Haha don't be silly. You did a great job catching the original post before it got deleted. This is the first time b!p went somewhat viral and the extra views definitely won't hurt. We didn't get a large boost in new readers in a long time, so all in all it's good news.

Oh lawd. This has to be some sort of karmic retribution for all of the poorly translated Chinese characters that westerners have had tattooed on their bodies.

I am not sure if anybody here cares anymore, but kusumi did some rather risky shots:

It was never a question of "if" but rather "when" Kusumi would do this. It's where the entirety of her talent resides.

Ai looks so gorgeous there! I love weddings dresses with lace, and especially the sweetheart neckline with lace over the shoulders is very pretty to me.

I hope he makes her happy, and is a good husband to her.

She looks happy.  I'm happy for her.  As long as he keeps her happy.  Because Ai should never stop smiling.

I seen those pictures on Facebook yesterday and was like "yay, Ai got marrie-" until I remembered it was months ago. Then I became more than a little confused :hahaha:

But they look happy together, and she's smiling radiantly, so if she deems him good enough, then I say he's good enough. They both look happy.

But man, her dress is reaaalllly pretty.

They got legally married on Valentine's Day, i.e. registered it with the Japanese government, but I think the actual ceremony itself wasn't until yesterday.

I get the impression that doing it that way (being legally married way before the ceremony itself) is common in japan, or at least with Japanese celebrities for some reason? I think I read about Meisa Kuroki and her husband (Johnny's guy, I think) doing the same thing.

It seems a little odd, but I think it makes more sense than the American model. I don't really get why we have the ceremony before the registration. It's like, what are we celebrating technically? You're not even married yet.

I've heard of people doing it the same day sometimes, but I feel like you'd be way too busy to get it done on the same day. Registering before and then having the ceremony later makes a lot more sense.

The Western-style ceremony is just for show and fun in Japan. People in the US take it more seriously with the priest signing the certificate being an important part.

You can come in France to try that kind of wedding (the only kind of wedding I've ever been actually) : as you thought, you're really tired at the end but you only move once, to go to all ceremonies (at the town hall, at the church and for the party) (we did 7h of train in 2 days to go to my cousin's wedding next to last week-end.. so tiring  ).
