Man, the budget on her PVs was never particularly high but it has gone down a LOT since her debut. What a shame. I'll always be rooting for Kikka, even if I feel like her solo career has been terribly mismanaged.

Morning Musume. '14 and MM. OG have been invited to appear on one of TV Tokyo's two shows for their Music Festival (TV Tokyo's first ever). the show they'll appear on is called "Narenai Namahouso Dotabatade Suimasen SP" on 6/26.
 
The OGs are Yuko, Kaori, Nacchi, Kei, Rika, and Yossie. Maki will also be performing with them. The OGs and MM will be performing separately.
 
Maki is also starting to do more stuff in general. From jplop:
 
In a nutshell Maki is returning to the entertainment industry to be Chief Curator for a magazine (their words, I'm assuming they mean something like Creative Director/Editor in Chief) of a lifestyle magazine. Maki said that during her time off she was finally able to dedicate herself to the things that interested her (hair, health, nails, etc.) but that she never had time to do while she was working.

I was so happy when I read about this on tokyohive, that news made my life :) Nono said on her blog post that they sang songs from their W & MoMusu days       I wish we could see them perform together!
 
I like both of Kikka's new songs but she doesn't need auto-tune, she's a lovely singer :) The PV's are pretty budget but I like Iijan :)

Ishiguro also seems to be joining the OGs for their performance. She's listed on the website too.

New album from The Possible is coming out 9/3. Title is "1116". They've only released about four singles since their last album so this should have quite a bit of new content on it.

I was pretty disappointed that the OG's have once again overshadowed the current gen.

I was hoping that there would be more talk and performance for the current MM even though I'm psyched with the OG's appearance. Overall the performances was pretty good.

Aya's voice isn't as strong as it used to be, but she still hit her marks. Yuko, on the other hand, sounded tone deaf

Maki sounded pretty rough on the high note leading into the final chorus of RR21, too. Still, this is the greatest MM-OG lineup ever.
