Just a slight note here....Rina didn't say no one bought the ginger ring, she said they're not selling it anymore. Also to elaborate the Maro thing she was basically like what the hell does that even mean? (I've been wondering the same thing).

Was just thinking about this, but what do you think Sayumi's upcoming last single will be like? A big Ai send off, or a more subtle one like Risa or Reina? Are you expecting cute, sexy or neither?

Personally I'm thinking Tsunku will go in a more fun/cutesy route for at least one of the two sides. Maybe not a shit ton of pink, but something that makes you want to dance and celebrate... At least that's what I'm thinking about. For some reason I have like bandstand music popping up in my head...

I feel like he's told how many songs they want for the release and then he does his thing. I get the impression he's given free reign musically.

Yeah, somehow I get the impression he wouldn't handle being told how to do everything too well, hahaha... Seems like he has to have hands-on stuff. You'll even hear the girls sometimes say "Tsunku told us to focus on this" not just "the staff told us to" (though they do say that, too!)

I'm wondering if Tsunku just writes a bunch of songs, and the higher ups pick which ones will be released.

I don't think any attention is paid to graduating members when considering A-side songs. If anything, they get a solo or featured B-side.

Well yeah, in the sense that Tsunku has already tailored the group's sound to suit her "abilities," but there just isn't a history of graduating members being featured any more than usual on the A-side's of their final single. I'm not saying it won't happen, because, first time for everything, just that it's unlikely.

Yeah, I was thinking more about what the song would sound like and not on how much Sayumi is in it. Because you're right--usually the graduating member isn't featured THAT much in their grad single.

Not super relevant to H!P but I thought it was interesting. Do you all remember this girl from the 2nd gen S/mileage auditions? Her name is Ito Chiyuri.

She got a lot of attention in the third round, particularly because people found out she was still with another group while auditioning but didn't make it to the final round. But she went onto Team Syachihoko and has been a member for two years. They're still indies but they're under the same company as Momoiro Clover Z and Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku and are having a Budokan live later this month. Her color is yellow.

Anderei, shachihoko is my shit. She also sang yume miru 15 at a birthday event or something (I forget exactly where it was). She is one of the top voices in all of 3B Junior (although they are now defunct?) and at their big final joint concert she was in this trio called "Tenkasu Trio" with Momoka (from Momoclo) and Hinata (from Ebichu) and it's like the most vocally strong thing in 3B.

Anyway I was sad she didn't make s/mileage but now I am happy because I am obSESSED with Team Shachihoko and she is the best singer in the group, hands down.
