Ai has a very hipster-Japanese style, it doesn't really translate to most other places.  But you can usually tone down whatever she does to make it work for you.

I think there's a difference between being fashionable and stylish, and while I think Takahashi is fashionable, I would never call her stylish.

The current discussion about Ai Kago and Girl's Beat got me to thinking that it's surprising that more ex-idols don't get into producing idol groups, although Asuza wasn't an idol for very long. Still, it seems to me that more of these girls would have an aptitude for the business beyond being on stage or behind the mic.

A quick wiki search says she's been doing modeling, acting and cosplay since leaving CM. And that she's also been performing at small venues since 2008.

It seems not only that Azusa has produced another idol group, PalmSugar (back in March, 2013 and disbanded just recently) AND she also produces Mysterious Roses (in which she's a member as well)....
 
 
Basically, this girl has been hitting the ground running since "Distance" I'm quite happy she's doing many things nowdays.
