Hi, everyone... It's been a while but I'm finally back to some degree. Sorry for taking such an absence... I still won't be able to take on too much, but I will do what I can! I know a lot of new blogs have been opened up and C-ute moved to Ameba (which Skoban already mentioned a few pages back but I don't think marena reads this thread), so how is the general state of things? Or, where are we most-lacking, translation-wise?
I'll be going back through my backlog now.

Recently I've been having the problem again where I can't get the photos from the blogs. I believe I had this problem before but I don't remember how to fix it.

Hey Xepher, I probably won't have time to even get to it until next week but when you have time do you think you can maybe prep the LoGirl interview with Sakura?  Don't worry about the pictures, just get all the text in a post so I can translate next week.  Thanks!

How do you usually get the photos from the blogs? I find the simplest way is to Right Click > View Page Source > CTRL+F > search "/user_" > the second and third found selections are usually the photos, depending on the number of photos.

Sometimes I can just right click and save the picture, but other times I drag the picture into google images and find the one with the correct URL. I've tried looking through the coding for them but I never quite figured out how. Thank you, though, I will try it out today.

Hey guys, don't think I can keep up any more with girls who post daily.
As a result, I'll be dropping Hamachan and Airi. I'll just finish up the Hamachan posts that have been prepped.
And with that, I'd like to pick up Tokunaga Chinami. Won't be needing a prepper, I don't mind doing it myself.

Hamachan does medium-length blog posts, though her q&a's do make them a lot longer. No particular idiosyncrasies that I noticed. 
Following the rest of ℃-ute, Airi's blog posts on the new Ameba blog are generally short and sweet, though she does update several times a day.No particular idiosyncrasies either.

^^ Actually, Sayuki has two entries with the same title. I thought it was weird as well, but when I looked, they are both different posts. She posted one with the title "18 years old" on the 21st and the 22nd. The 21st's first photo has a picture of Sayuki first, but the 22nd's has a photo with her and Nomura Minami. So I guess she posted a "Part Two" of her birthday.

 OK I was wondering if that was the case, which is why I didn't just straight up delete it.  I guess I just  missed the e-mail when she posted the second one haha
 
kira, I'm not sure what the official policy is but I would say that since she credited me and posted the link back to B!P it should be ok?

I understand. Thank you for translating her posts up till now. I really enjoyed prepping for Ayano so if you wanted to translate e.g some of her important announcement from time to time, then I would willingly prepp it.

I'm not sure if this is an issue on Twitter's end or on the site's end but embedded Twitter videos no longer appear correctly. Aina occasionally posts videos and I've been embedding them and they show up just fine but for the latest one, the video doesn't appear. I checked the previous posts to check if I wasn't doing something wrong, but those don't appear anymore either. I was wondering if we couldn't get that looked into.

As of today, arco joins the team as a new translator. Welcome!

He has a couple of members to translate in mind, so hopefully he'll post here to sort it all out.

Since our blog!project HR wizard Neko has been missing, I need to finally sit down and update the spreadsheet and get things organized. I'll admit I've been shying away from it because I don't like the fact I need to log into a google account to access it. :D But I'll get to it soon.

I'll have a look at it. Could you provide some specific post links where it happens?

I need to run a few b!p updates again soon, so perhaps this will take care of this and a few other issues as well.

I have two girls (Ogata & Haga) I mainly want to translate right now, but I messaged their translator to see if they'd be willing to let me take over since they've not been able to translate them in a while, and if that doesn't go through, I have one more girl who doesn't have a translator, Yamaki Risa, who I'll start on!

I'll update you all on whatever happens in this thread when I get the reply back. But if any of you are interested in prepping for both Ogata & Haga or just Yamaki (I can't take on all three; I can do Haga and Ogata since Haga doesn't post that much), I'd love the help in the future for sure. :D

I have been MIA for over a month now because I couldn't find any of the posts my preppers said they had prepped for my girls in the drafts or through the search function...today I randomly checked the "Pending" posts and found them all there. Is there a reason they ended up there?  I thought the posts just weren't being prepped at all.

^I assume they're pending because they haven't been posted yet. I've never been able to find prepped posts through search function. I usually just click on the preppers name to see all the posts left to translate.


Also, I will be back to translating after finals are over next week. I've had a hectic month, but after then I'll be free again.

@Hotaru and Xepher, I'm having major computer issues at the moment so please don't prep anymore entries until further notice.  Plus I am taking a long weekend, so tomorrow if my computer stops crashing every five minutes I'll try and catch up on whatever's prepped already and next week I'll give the go ahead to start prepping again and let you know if I need you to cover any of the posts from my absence.
