Re: H!P YouTube Most Viewed MV Ranking!!
<div>You can really tell when MM turned it around, and which song was responsible for it: One Two Three with two entries in the top 13 with a combined 14 million views, and Help Me!! with two in the top 18 and combined 11 million views. No other songs comes close.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>Also interesting how the dance versions are often more popular than the official PVs.</div>

Back then, they used to release the dance shot a few days to a week before the regular MV. So the dance shots got a lot of extra views as they were the only thing available at first. They changed this after Ai no Gundan if I remember correctly.

Koharu's songs are on an official page?
That's my take away from this whole list. Haha

That would explain it.

I've always wondered why it was just Balalaika. I know it was her best selling single and it was kind of an internet meme back in the day with that Yaranaika parody, but I don't see why they haven't uploaded any of the other songs she did.
I was also going to say I think One Two Three was the first new Morning Musume MV on Youtube after DohhhhUP was discontinued but that was apparently back in 2010 which makes it Maji Desu ka Suka... that was so long ago geez.
(Remember DohhhhUP? I wonder how many views that site had)

I became a fan right after DohhhUP; didn't it have more MVs that were never posted on YouTube?

Re: H!P YouTube Most Viewed MV Ranking!!
DohhhUP was a frustrating site. They had a lot of great content, but it took forever to load, and often times just didn't. I still see videos on YT with the DU watermark.

Re: H!P YouTube Most Viewed MV Ranking!!
The only thing I'll ever thank DohhhUP for is their loads of Egg Trainee videos they posted. Back then they weren't much since the eggs were basically nobodies but now looking back and seeing baby Mizuki or Kanon, Ayaka and other members who are now more established, it makes me kind of smile to see how far they've come.

Oh, Thea.
I remember. These were... interesting times. My weeb days. I knew the whole dance. Good thing I didn't have a camera back then or else I probably would've filmed me. Welp.

Thanks to Ryan for telling me what the yaranaika was from. But oh, god.......
That would have been great to look back on though, Juan, lol!

Imagine you make it somewhere in your life, like becoming a politician, and just before you get the biggest job in your life someone publishes a video of you doing the yaranaika dance.
(Not that I am anywhere close to becoming well-known, but just. The thought.)

That's when you say you're open to accepting different cultures, know how to have to fun and not be uptight, and are willing to build a cultural bridge between countries because of your past experiences. ;)

Almost would've been as bad as posting yourself doing that stopmotion horse dance... The worse thing is yaranaika has that sexual undertone lolol
